Installed on my 2012 Cougar. What a difference this handle makes. Now, by using my whole hand, it is much easier to open my door. It fit easily, and was installed in less than 20 min., including swapping the old rusty catch with the new and more secure one that was supplied. Looks and feels much more solid than the original. I would definitely recommend this RV door lock, and would purchase it again.
These locks work much better than the stock factory side pull handle. Safeer too
since we have to grip the handle instead of pull which eliminates hand sliping off handle resulting in us falling backwards. That's why we purchased and changed locks.

The lock was easy to install, good instructions, its has a strong build and it is performing very well.
This is the style door handle I wanted more than any other they had. I wasn't sure how easy it was going to be to install and after having finished I don't recommend anyone retrofitting this handle for the basic style door lock. There was a lot of door cutting and repositioning of the latch and striker plate. I'm very happy with the finished product and love having a handle I can grab and swing open with a natural motion. Just know that it wasn't as easy as removing the old and screwing in the new. Installed on a 2020 Grand Design Imagine 2970RL
Haven't installed it yet but it is exactly what we need to replace our broken lock. Four stars because the original design seems to have flaws.

This door latch works smoothly and is so much better than the original latch that came with our camper.
One of our door locks broke and we decided to upgrade both to these and love them. Having them keyed alike was a nice bonus as our old ones weren't. Mechanism works so smoothly.
