pure sine wave inverter

This 12V inverter changes DC output from your RV batteries into AC power so you can plug in tools and appliances. Using modified sine wave technology, it creates a stepped waveform that simulates AC power. This is perfect for resistive loads like electric heaters and toasters. Plus, the inverter can generate 3,500 starting watts and 1,750 running watts which is a great fit for larger appliances.

Functions and Features

outlets and terminals on inverter

The inverter includes 3 standard North American outlets for AC loads, positive and negative DC input terminals that connect to your batteries, USB port for charging small electronic devices, and a port for a fixed-mount remote (sold separately).

The system includes a number of safety features. It offers protection from over/under voltage and overloading. The inverter also uses a heat sink process to protect from extreme temperatures, and an internal cooling fan removes excess heat from the unit.

fuse block

For additional safety, installing a fuse between the battery bank and the inverter will protect your equipment from power surges. The Go Power 200-amp fuse block (sold separately) works with this unit and uses a slow blow time-delay feature to withstand surge current. This means it can handle short surges over 200 amps without blowing the fuse, which is great for devices with motors that require more energy to start.

How It Installs

The inverter mounts inside your RV in a dry location with ventilation. It should be installed in close proximity to the battery bank, but not in the same compartment. The DC terminals are wired to the battery bank.

Available Fixed-Mount Remote Provides Easy Control

GP-SWR-A inverter remote

The Go Power GP-HD-R Inverter Remote (sold separately) lets you turn your inverter on and off from inside your RV. It also has a LED which indicates the inverter's status.

Video Transcript for Go Power RV Inverters - Modified Sine Wave Inverter - 34280177 Review

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Go Power! 12 Volt 1,750 Watt Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter. Now this inverter will convert incoming DC battery power to usable AC household power where you go. It's a heavy duty modified sine wave inverter, which offers AC power, which is perfect for large loads, like a microwave or other medium size electronics. This will run any device in the wattage range without interference. It's all in a nice heavy-duty steel case. You can see on the front here, it's got the three standard AC outlets.

It has one USB port. Next to that is one remote port. That's for use of the optional remote control unit. And then right over here, is a nice digital display that will show battery voltage and wattage. I am going to demonstrate that here towards the end of the video just to show you what the display looks like.

And then right here is an on and off switch. Now this inverter gives you full overload protection. It is compatible with 12 volt systems. The continuous output power is 1,750 Watts. The Peak surge power is 3,500 Watts. AC output voltage is 100 volts to 120 volts.

Input voltage range is 10 1/2 volts to 60 volts DC. Again, the AC output wave form is modified sine wave. Maximum efficiency on this is 80%. And the battery drain with no AC load is less than or equal to one amp.It also has a low battery alarm and a low battery shutdown. It does include the inverter, and a nice user's manual that'll describe how to hook it up and how to use it.

Weight on this is about six and a half pounds. And just to give you some measurements. The length on it, now the length, we're going to measure from the post to the side here. So all the way to the post is going to be right at nine inches. The width on it, it's going to be from here to here. It's also going to be right at nine inches wide. And the depth on it to the very top is right at three and a half inches deep. But again, let me just hook up some 12 volt power to show you the display. We'll take our positive, take our negative. Our power's on. So again, if you look at the display right here, what I'm going to do is zoom in, so you got a better look at it. So right over here, you'll see the on and off switch. We turn it on. You can see it displays a nice digital display there.a and it's actually showing 11.7, so not quite 12 volts. And then there's a switch here that'll turn it from volts to watts. Real nice display. Go ahead and zoom back out. And we'll go ahead and turn off our display, unhook it.But that should do it for the review on the Go Power! 12 Volt 1,750 Watt Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter.

I have not yet installed the product i ordered because i am in the commercial repair business and specialize in trucks running expedited freight. I. am replacing a bad unit that was equiped with the truck that is currently on the road. As far as the team at e trailer they have been fantastic with updates on my order and let me know right away that my product was on back order, and continued to give me updates when i would recieve it. And they delivered when promised. I will continue to order from them because of the great customer service i recieved even when a product wasnt in stock.

  • Charging Yeti 3000 Using CCP Port On 2019 Ford Transit.
After reaching out to Goal Zero about your specific question, I've found a solution for you! There is no cable that is a direct plug and play to your Customer Connection Point Port (CCP) to the HPP port on your Goal Zero 3000 # GZ74FR, but there are two different options you have. If you have a power block or fuse panel you can get a Power Pole To Ring Terminal Connector and plug that into Yeti HPP 12V output port and connect the ring terminal to the positive and negative post of the fuse...
