The Edge EZ Module can be quickly installed to provide more horsepower and torque with easy in-cab, on-the-fly power level adjustments

Edge Products EZ Module is an add-on Engine Control Module (ECM) for the Cummins 5.9L Engine that offers additional features not available on a stock engine. Since it is an "add on" ECM, it uses all the factory data, and then enhances the factory settings to optimize your truck's performance.

  • In-Cab switch to provide adjustability On-the-Fly
  • Adds up to 65 Horsepower
  • Adds up to 150 Foot Pounds of Torque
  • Can switch between 3 available power levels:
    • Level 1: 25 Horsepower - 50 Foot Pounds of Torque
    • Level 2: 45 Horsepower - 75 Foot Pounds of Torque
    • Level 3: 65 Horsepower - 150 Foot Pounds of Torque
  • Increases Fuel Economy
  • Helps eliminate downshifting while towing
  • Maximizes efficiency by monitoring the RPM, Timing, Turbo Boost Pressure, and Fueling Parameters
  • Uses engine information to control and enhance timing and fueling
  • Easy installation needs no mechanic labor, no drilling, and no computer downloads.
  • Completely Weatherproof

Product Detail

Edge Products EZ Module

The Cummins motor is one of the most powerful motors ever put in a pickup truck. The Edge EZ module unleashes the potential of this monster by carefully monitoring RPM, turbo boost pressure and fueling parameters and adjusting fueling to maximize power, torque and driveability.

The Edge EZ module allows maximum fueling at full turbo boost and provides an additional 65 rear wheel horsepower and an additional 150 foot pounds of torque. Simply plug the Power Edge EZ connectors into the ECM Data Link connection and MAP sensor. The Edge EZ is completely weatherproof and mounts under the hood. All data sent from the Edge EZ module is within the limits of the Bosch fuel injection pump. This enables smooth and predictable power delivery without compromising integrity.

Towing? Edge products were created for towing. Let's assume that in a stock truck you would pull your 5,000 lb load up grades in 3rd gear. Your EGT may run at 1,200 degrees F. With the EZ module on level 2, you have effectively increased horsepower by 45, and torque by 77 foot-pounds. That's like adding a fifth horse to pull a four horse carriage. This means you'll now be running the grades at a lower RPM (and therefore a lower EGT) and best of all you'll be going faster and the truck may already be in 4th gear.

Towing is usually done in power level 2. For heavy loads, power level 1 should be used. Level 3 is designed to take advantage of the built-in safety margins the manufacturer needs to add in order to make sure your vehicle can tow at its maximum capacity. Level 3 should not be used without an EGT gauge.

The EZ can also be stacked with other upgrades to deliver even more power. There is not an upgrade on the market today that can deliver as much power and install so simply.

Legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway.

exactly what I needed!!This product is exactly what I needed towing my 5th wheel. I leave it on the lowest setting and have plenty of power with decent mileage. Just took a trip without trailer, drove 70-75 mph and got 21-22 mpg. 2003 4x4 w/ manual transmission. I highly recommend this product.

Just installed yesterday, Seems like product does what is says. The package says installs in 5 minutes, But reality the first time is a little longer like at least a hour or so. Called edge tech support a couple of times with questions. They were helpful.
