Coghlan's Pop-Up Trash Can - 29.5 Gallon - Blue

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Coghlan's blue 29.5 gallon pop-up recycle bin. This is a nice light weight pop-up container, it's handy around your campsite, your RV or your home. It's great for holding any garbage, recycling or any storage. Has nylon ties, one on each side here that will secure the container in this flat position for compact storage and the height of this when it is flat is only about 1 3/4" tall. If we go to open this, all you have to do is push the nylon tabs there through the loop, take some of the tension off of it.

And then once we get it through there, it will release it on that side. And we will go over here and do the same on this side. And once it's fully released, you can see the spring-loaded steel frame there, allow the container to pop open for use. You can see as it opens up all the way when it's fully open, it's about 19" in diameter, of 24" in height. And again, you can just push it down to store it like we had it before and then hook those loops.

I do recommend to leave the zippered top open a little bit, so when you push them down, it's pushing the air out so you're not fighting against it. Same way when it opens, it'll let the air. But basically this zippered top will help keep your contents in place and any pest out. It does open up about a full 360, except for a little section here. That'll just hold the lid onto it.

This can use standard 30 gallon sized trash bags, but also if you notice on the very top, it has the clear pocket on the lid that will offer additional storage for any extra trash bags. And also you can see if we pull out this, it does have the recycle logo on it, to let people know if you want to use it for recycling, that it has the recycle logo. Also on each side, you can see these web handles, nice strong carry handles, make it very easy to transport if you've got a full container. And then on the very bottom I wanted to mention it has this grommet on a tab here a web tab, just want to zoom in to show that we're talking about on that. You notice this grommet here and what's that nice as far as if you have this at your campsite, you can put that grommet down and then put a stake through there to hold it in place.

If you put anything in from moving it. You can see it as a nice blue color. As I mentioned at the very top, it does come with the recycled logo. Specs on this. The total volume is 29.5 gallons, but again, to flatten it down for storage, when you're not using it, just push down until you get most all the air out of it. And go to one side, and then just put the nylon tabs through the loop, just like that. Once you get it through all the way it will hold it in position. We go to the other side, take the little tab, and again, put it through the loop. And it will hold it in position right like that. Now you have it flat and ready for storage.
