Installation

This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness.

T-One Connection Location Points Behind Tail Lights

Once you've plugged in the T-connector, locate the "towing fuse" position in your fuse box and insert the included 10-amp fuse.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your cargo area.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

ModuLite Powered Tail Light Converter

A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.

With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

I am glad that I found your product on the net it has solved my problem of trying to wire in the lights through the existing wiring which worked for some lights but not all once I had installed the wiring harness that I had purchased form your company I had no problem everything worked fine thanks for me finding your co. and also for the fast delivery I plan on using the lights whenever I use my trailer.
I would gladly recommended your company to anyone with out a doubt.

It has worked great for me! I needed to use a [rental] trailer to help my daughter move. After watching the you-tube video on how to install the harness it only took an hour and I was up and running.

2015 Nissan Quest

Very pleased with the product and the order process, shipping was fast. Had a trouble free installation on my 2008 Quest SE, took about 45 minutes, would take 15 if I had to do it again. The instructions provided were OK, but coupled with the online video, I had no problems. Overall very pleased with the purchase.

Awesome... 10 min job plug n play local shop wanted to run a wire all the way to my battery. This harness. 10 min job no running wires some plug n play pop in a fuse provide in the tow fuse and go. Highly recommend etrailer

by:

Great hitch. Installed flawlessly on a 2008 Nissan Quest. Holes were pre-drilled and threaded. I did need a 2nd man to hold up the hitch. total time perhaps 30 minutes and that includes cleaning out the threaded holes.

by:
2008 Nissan Quest

After watching the video it made installing this harness on my 2008 Nissan Quest pretty easy. Only thing my van didn't have that the video showed on a 2007 model was a screw for the ground wire but not a problem if you have assortment of screws.

by:
2008 Nissan Quest

Went together pretty easily. Not the easiest to pull out the driver's side of the quest to hook up. The paper directions are missing a step concerning the red wire. Glad I watched the video before installing and during install. Haven't actually used it yet, but it's ready to use

by:

Wow, great install, great video on this site - Thank you! Couldn't be simpler, just plug it in. Taillights on trailer worked perfectly.

by:

It was gre3at to find this part as it was not available locally. Ordering was easy abut a bit frustrating. Notice said it would not ship for 5 days after order was placed and then take another 4-5 days to arrive. This ended up altering our plans, but then it arrived on the day it was scheduled to ship. While that was great and product was in good condition and worked as planned, it would have been great to have more accurate information from the start.

by:

The wiring kit arrived quickly and installed exactly as the video on etrailer.com showed. Very happy with my purchase!

by:
2004 Nissan Quest

If you own a 2004 or newer nissan quest, this is the only harness kit worth buying.

by:
2008 Nissan Quest

Awesome product, easy hook up and reliable. I love you ETrailer.

Plug and play!

by:
2008 Nissan Quest

Easy to Install....you will need to have a drill to drive a self tap screw, other than that, very simple. Item were smash, but not effected in shipping process.

by:
2007 Nissan Quest

Just followed the video on the site. No wondering if I was actually doing it correctly. 20 minutes including finding the couple tools that were needed.

by:
2007 Nissan Quest

Product worked nicely. The online video was a great prep tool before the actual install.

by:

Item came in perfect condition and very fast. Will order from here again!

  • Installation of Trailier Lighting Connector on a 2009 Nissan Quest
Your 2009 Nissan Quest requires a powered converter to protect the vehicles sensitive circuitry form possible overload or shorts. There is a gray power connection in the rear of the vehicle near the taillight connections on the drivers side which will supply power to the trailer taillights. This power wire eliminates the amperage draw on the vehicles taillight system. The best method for installing trailer lighting is to use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector...

  • Will the Curt Trailer Hitch Part C13563 Fit on a 2006 Nissan Quest
The Class 3 Curt # C13563, and the one I recommend, is one of trailer hitches that fit your 2006 Nissan Quest. It has a maximum tongue weight of 300 pounds and 3,500 pound towing capacity. • Can the T-One # 118469 be Installed Without Going Through the Hatch on a 2007 Nissan Quest
You could route the 4-Way connector on the T-One # 118469 through the floor of the trunk on your 2007 Nissan Quest. If you use a rubber grommet like part # A55GB and some sealant like the Loctite RTV 598 # LT37467 it would create a seal so you wouldn't have to worry about having an opening in your floor. Sometimes there is already an existing grommet in which case you would simply cut a slit in it for the 4-Way. To keep your 4-Way secure I recommend using the Mounting Bracket # 18144...
