Can the T-One # 118469 be Installed Without Going Through the Hatch on a 2007 Nissan Quest

Is there a way to install the wirin g harness without running the wires out the rear hatch door when in use?

Expert Reply:
You could route the 4-Way connector on the T-One # 118469 through the floor of the trunk on your 2007 Nissan Quest. If you use a rubber grommet like part # A55GB and some sealant like the Loctite RTV 598 # LT37467 it would create a seal so you wouldn't have to worry about having an opening in your floor.
Sometimes there is already an existing grommet in which case you would simply cut a slit in it for the 4-Way.
To keep your 4-Way secure I recommend using the Mounting Bracket # 18144 as well as the No-Drill Mount Bracket # 18140.
Attached is an installation of this kit on a Quest as well as an example of the grommet installation on a 2013 Ford Edge (mark 4:15) for you to reference.
