Today we're going to be taking a look at part number BDW20076. This is the bulldog chain from Bulldog Winches. Chains are going to have many different purposes and they're always good just to have one on hand. You never know when you're going to need one. Typically, or sometimes, they're going to be used to hook to another vehicle. They're going to be used to pull different types of equipment.

Or they can hook around an object used as an anchor point. This chain is going to measure 5/16" in diameter when it comes to the links. It's going to give us an overall length of 10' long. It's going to have the nice hooks on each end. If we measure the depth from the bottom of this point here to the end of the hook, that's going to give us an opening depth of about 1-3/4" and the width, inside edge to inside edge, is going to be about 3/8". This is a grade 70 chain. It's going to offer a break strength of 18,800 pounds.

It's going to feature the identical hook here on the other end. It's going to have a working load limit of 4,700 pounds. This chain is very strong and durable. It's got a nice coating on it so it's going to last a long time. It's going to be corrosion and rust resistant.
