Recover stuck vehicles or secure oversized cargo with this recovery and lashing chain. Super-durable, Grade 100 construction and grooved cradle grab hooks allow for safe overhead lifting too. 8,800-lb Load limit.

Note: Tie-down chains must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the chains being used. For example, if you are using chains with a WLL of 4,000 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 8,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 chains to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use chains in pairs.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this 20-foot-long Durabilt lashing and recovery chain with the 3/8 inch size clevis cradle grab books on each end, and an 8,800 pound working load limit. Now this chain will let you recover heavy vehicles or secure oversized cargo, and it is even perfect for overhead lifting. It is a Grade 100 heat-treated alloy, which is very durable, and the chain itself has a nice E-Coat finish to resist corrosion. Now, one of the main features on this chain is they use on each end, the 3/8 inch size cradle grab hooks, and it makes it very easy to connect to anchor points or back onto itself. And I wanted to show you when we talk about the cradle grab hooks, as opposed to a regular grab book.
These, if you notice we'll have a cradle on them. In other words, you can see these sections that stick out on each side here, so it has a flat surface right here in the throat opening and then little indentation on each side of the hook. So basically what the cradle grab hook does is it'll hold a single link of chain. So if we take the single link and we put it in there, it'll sit in that cradle on the throat opening, and then it'll allow you to, if you notice on the side here, you can bring this chain down and this chain down when you're doing lifting and it'll line right up with those grooves on each side there. And this design allows you to do overhead lifting without a capacity reduction, like when you use a non-cradle grab hook, because this chain'll line up perfectly in that cradle opening.
So it's a nice feature to use that for any type of heavy lifting so you don't reduce the capacity. It does have a nice powder coat finish itself on the hook, helps resist chipping and fading. And this is manufactured to DIN 21061 standards. The safe working load limit again on this chain is 8,800 pounds. The link thickness on the chain is 3/8 of an inch.
The clevis cradle grab hook is a 3/8 size also, and the total length on this chain is 20 feet. But that should do it for the review on this 20-foot-long Durabilt lashing and recovery chain with the 3/8 inch size clevis cradle grab hooks, and an 8,800 pound working load limit..
