Waterproof Roof-Mounted Storage Bag
This waterproof bag fits perfectly inside your Curt roof-mounted cargo basket (C18115 - sold separately) or within most other roof-mounted cargo baskets that can accomodate the bag's dimensions. This durable bag holds your gear on your roof, leaving more passenger room and trunk space. It is made of a heavy-duty material with welded seams and zipper flaps to keep your cargo dry. It opens on the front and side for easy loading with zipper pulls that can accommodate a padlock for added security.
The Curt cargo bag is constructed of a thick, UV-resistant vinyl that is designed to keep your gear clean and dry. Welded seams keep water from seeping into the bag.
As an additional measure of protection for your gear, a vinyl flap covers the zipper and secures with hook-and-loop fasteners (similar to Velcro) to keep moisture out. When rain or snow hits, you can continue on your journey, knowing your cargo is safe and dry.
Simple Mounting on Roof Cargo Basket
This bag is designed to be used with a rooftop cargo basket. Position the bag in your basket, and load the bag with cargo from the back and sides. Then zip up the bag and secure the zipper flap.
Adjust the integrated polypropylene straps on the bag to the length needed. Then wrap each strap end around the crossbars and side rails of your roof cargo basket so that the bag is secured at 8 points. Tighten the straps with the sturdy plastic buckles.
When you are not using the bag, just remove it from your roof and fold it up until your next trip.
Lockable Zippers Secure Gear
The zipper pulls have holes through which you can insert a padlock (sold separately) to guard against theft.

I have not been able to use the product on a trip yet, which will happen in mid Sepember. So far I have tried packing with the basket on the ground and it looks like it will hold all that I need it to. I am anxious to see how it works on the mid September trip. If you need to pack a lot of stuff on your journey and want it to stay out of the elements. Clean, dry all the above? This is perfect. I’ve used this and I also have the hitch rack bag from curt as well in rain/snow/sleet several times. Everything always stays perfectly dry and clean. Very durable product. Tough material.

Still water proof through a harsh winter here in Maine! The only small thing is the tie downs, if you have kayak straps I would recommend using them in place of the included straps.

Nice product, well made, no leaks! Fit our rooftop basket type carrier. Nice height for suitcases. Didn't use the supplied straps as I prefer ratchet straps. Did I mention no leaks?

I am so glad that I bought this car roof basket bag. It fit perfectly since it was made for the Curt Roof basket. I have used it several times now and have had no leaks, it easy to install and is quiet in the heaviest wind conditions. It has met my needs perfectly and I often will recommend it. When traveling, after emptying it I fold it flat in the roof rack and bugee it down until I am ready to load again. So easy!!!
