Race Ramps Hook-Nosed Service Rack Ramps attach to a platform or lift to safely load your vehicle onto a service rack. The 3" hook-nose securely connects to forward side of the service platform or lift to create a smooth transition surface. The ramps have an 8 degree angle of approach, which allows you to load a low-ground-clearance vehicle without worrying about scraping its front end. It also eliminates the need for heavy steel approach ramps.
These ramps are made of ultra-strong, solid core, high-density EPS foam that won't crack or bounce. Each ramp supports 1,500 lbs - giving you a total weight capacity of 3,000 lbs for lifting a vehicle for service. The ramps are lightweight, weighing no more than 7 pounds per ramp, so you can transport and store them with ease.
The ramps are covered with a textured coating and are flat on one side. This keeps them from skidding when you drive up on them. The coating is a hybrid polyurea compound that is resistant to water and other automotive chemicals commonly found around the garage. And although this coating is durable, it will not scratch, mark, or scrape your garage floor or the ground.

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Race Ramps Hook-Nosed Service Rack Ramps. These are a four inch tall by 34 inch long ramp. It's going to create a eight degree incline for you to load your vehicle up onto your service ramp, whether that be a platform or a lift so that you can service your vehicle. This is going to be great for your low ground clearance vehicles that sometimes have a hard time getting up onto those ramps.
This is going to provide that nice, smooth eight degree incline for them to get up on there. On the backside we do have a three inch hook-nose connection that will connect to the forward side of your platform or lift to make sure that you're going to have a nice secure connection, so you don't have to worry about it moving on you.This is going to help replace the heavy steel approach ramps that most ramps have. These are 14 inches wide, so they're going to accommodate tire sizes up to 12 inches wide and these are really lightweight. It's only about seven pounds per ramp. So it's going to be very easy to use, transport, and store.
They are made of ultra-strong high-density, EPS foam construction. So that's why they're so light, but they're very, very firm. They're not going to crack or bend or bounce or anything like that. They feel, maybe not like steel to me, but definitely like wood. They're very, very hard.
So they're going to do a good job for you. They've got a weight capacity of 1,500 pounds per ramp. So combined, you're going to have 3000 pound weight capacity. These do have a textured coating on them. Let me zoom in here a little bit so you can see that textured coating.So that's going to help prevent any sort of slipping and sliding, but that coating is also water resistant.
It's also going to resist any automotive fluids, anything that could potentially be in your shop. So it's going to help reduce accidents, slips and everything. On the backside it's got that same coating, but this is a flat side so it's not going to slide around on your garage floor, but it's also not going to scratch or mark or scrape up the floor. It's going to give you a nice surface there to make sure that your ramps are staying where they need to be. You are going to get two ramps. So one for each side of the vehicle, and that's really all there is to them.
