Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the GSI outdoors chef's tools set. This is going to give us three tools that we'll need when we're out on the campsite, wanting to cook dinner for everybody. So we've got a spatula, a spoon, and a ladle. So depending on what we're cooking up for dinner that night might need to scrape some eggs in the morning, scoops and chili, something like that.
As you can see these are all connected currently, we've got this little ring here that we can easily pop open and pull out on.So that we can detach them. Might not be as easy as I had anticipated. There we go so once we have those separated you can see, we do have the holes at the top that will make these easy to store in our kitchen and our RV, or to put together and taken a backpack something like that. These are all made of a nylon construction. So they're going to hold up well, even in very high temperatures. So they do have a maximum temperature rating of 428 degrees Fahrenheit.
And so they will hold up to your very warm cooking surfaces. I am well-known in my household for melting these kinds of utensils by holding them onto the bottom of a pan for too long, so I don't do that. It might be common sense for most people, but you know if you have direct contact with the cooking surface, it might still have some issues. But if you are just using it to stir and then taking it out, that sort of thing it should last you a nice long time and do a good job for you. Now, as far as the measurements go for these I would say that our spatula is going to be right about I'd call it nine and three quarters of an inch. And total links our spoon here, looking at closer to again, I'd say probably about 10 and three quarters of an inch.
And then for our ladle, we're at about 11 and three quarters of an inch. So about one inch increments for each one, but should give you plenty of options for preparing your meals at the campsite or while you're out camping, that sort of thing. It's going to be very lightweight. You're only going to be about four ounces for the whole kit. So very easy to pass along and take with you. This does come with a limited lifetime warranty.
So if there we're to be any problems, you could give us a call and we'd help you out with that. But I really don't think you're going to have any problems. I think these are going to do a good job, helping you prepare your meals while you're out enjoying the outdoors. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
