The Pro Series system combines everything you need in a set of transom straps - strength, security and safety. These heavy-duty straps secure your boat's stern to your trailer and make the trailer more visible at night. 1,200 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Heavy-duty tie-down straps firmly secure your boat's transom (stern) to your trailer
  • SUR-Grip rubber-coated Kwik-Lok buckle is easy to grip and control with one hand
  • Seat-belt-quality polyester webbing
  • Hi-Vis protective PVC pads under the buckle and vinyl-coated steel top S-hooks protect your boat's paint finish
  • Zinc-coated hook attaches to trailer and withstands the elements
  • Night Eyes patch on buckle reflects light, adding to your safety at night

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 2" wide x 2' long
  • Maximum load strength (break strength): 1,200 lbs
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 400 lbs
  • Quantity: 2 transom straps
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Load your boat onto your trailer, open the buckle, connect the bottom S-hook of the Pro Series strap to the back end of your trailer's frame, then connect the vinyl-coated top S-hook to the loop on the stern of the boat. Pull the end of the strap through its buckle and turn the buckle down to tighten the strap.

Note: Transom tie-downs should always be used along with a winch strap and a set of gunwale tie-downs. All straps and cables should be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load.

As advertised. Easier to adjust when putting them on than the originals.

Love em. Was looking for a short transom strap everywhere and found them at etrailer. Great quality product and easy to use.

by:

These tie-down straps were better quality than I expected. Very well made and work perfectly for my boat.
I'm a price shopping nut, and I look everywhere to compare prices for everything that I buy, including local stores and all over the internet. If I need something that Etrailer carries, I don't bother looking anywhere else. They have hands down the best prices that can be found. Anywhere. But wait. There's more. They have the best customer service that you'll find. I'm glad that I found them.

The tiedowns are working great. Id buy them again.

by:

GREAT PRODUCT. HAD TO MODIFY MOUNTING DUE TO TRAILER DESIGN, BUT WORKED OUT PERFECTLY. USING A LITTLE COMMON SENSE AND MECHANICAL ABILITY YOU CAN DO MOST ANYTHING. SEE PIC.

by:

Good quality, work great!

by:

The fastest company in the World in getting your product to you and having it correct. I was getting ready this weekend to go fishing, and I had the old straps, that I been using for a while and though I had to go out with them one more week, Etrailer high yo silver my order just in time. Way to go Etrailer.

Dont worry, this product work as if it were still new. I has recommend them over and over at Boat ramps. I love them. They are the Bomb

by:

Upgrade replacement for the original worn out transom tie downs on my boat trailer. These 24" straps are perfect for a tie down length of 22". These buckles do not ratchet but use over center cam buckles to secure the transom. Yellow rubber pad protects boat finish from buckle. Easy to use without excess strap to deal with. Prompt shipment.

by:

These tie downs are great. Rubber coated hooks and rubber sleeve around strap so boat is not scratched or scuffed when straps are in place. The Velcro flap to hold the loose ends of straps also are a nice feature.

by:

Strap were the perfect length and very easy to work. haven't put the new winch strap on yet but it looks like a direct replacement. Thank You!

After i year in full sun they seem to be unaffected.Great! Thank you for a great product.

by:

These were a perfect fit for my transom tie down 24". They are quicker to use than the ratchet straps. They also have that yellow rubber protective sleeve so your boat transom does not get scratched and velcro to tie the excess strap down so it will not flap in the wind.

by:

These were much better than expected. The Photo misses the robust locking feature that is hidden under the Velcro cover that assist in installing these and removing. I am impressed at the quality.

Has it been that long. Anyway the boat tie-down are performing better than expected. They are easy to remove and install and adjust if required. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking for new or replacement boat tie-downs.

by:

Good guality. Won't scratch boat.

by:

Ordered a boat trailer winch and some tie down straps. Loved the product videos showing real life operations of the winches. Helped narrow down my choice. Ordered on a Tuesday and had it on Thursday. Just in time for the weekend. Awesome.

by:

These tie-down straps work excellent holding my kayak racks tightly to my utility trailer. Easy on and off with no rust yet.

by:

The innovative design on this latch lock hook makes attaching and securing your load easier than ever. Latch Technology works by simply pushing on and squeezing off.

by:

Only had 12" from transom to trailer and could not find anything that worked. Tried a few ratchet type straps and always had issues. This is simple and quick and fit perfect.

by:

The straps arrived quickly and are of very good quality. Always great communications from etrailer

Still look brand new and work perfectly

by:

These are good because they priced right, strong, and easy to take on and off. I purchased these because my old straps had exposed metal and they were cutting into my transom ... these wont do that. I also like that they are short. The old straps I had were longer and I always had to ratchet them down and then tie off the excess strapping so it wouldn't drag on the ground. Since these are always something that a person uses every time they go boating, I think they are a good overall value.

by:

My order was handled in an very excellent and timely manner. The straps are what I wanted and they are perfect for use on my boat trailer. I would recommend your services to all of my friends that need products for their boat. Stan Merker, YN1(SS), U.S. Navy RETIRED

by:

These tie down straps work great. They are very easy to use and stay tight while trailering my boat

by:

Order my products and they were here in four days. Great service. Put the wheels and tires on boat trailer and will be fishing tomorrow.
Thanks
Lloyd

by:

Great quality for the price. These shorter straps are the perfect length for my boat and trailer setup. For a non-ratchet strap, you will not beat these for the money.

by:

These work as expected to tie down our boat to the trailer. Easy to attach and remove.

by:

These straps worked great. They are wider than the original ones that came with my boat and provide munch more support.

still stronger than ever

by:

After one year of use, all I can say is this is a great product. Large range for length adjustment and is well made. Easy to close the clamp for good tension and the velcro wrap to hold excess length of strap is terrific. The foam padding is a nice addition as well. Very happy with the purchase.

  • Strap Recommendation for Securing Rear of Sea-Doo to Trailer
What you are looking for is a transom strap. We have the BoatBuckle Kwik Lok # IMF17631 which is 2 feet when fully extended that would work well.

  • Length of BoatBuckle Pro Series Kwik-Lok Transom Tie-Down # IMF17631
The BoatBuckle Pro Series Kwik-Lok Transom Tie-Down Straps # IMF17631 referenced in your question feature an overall length of 2 feet, which is measured from the inside of one hook to the inside of the other. There may be an inch or so tolerance but if you are needing any more than 2 feet your best option will really be with the 4 foot Transom Tie-Down Straps # IMF17632 that you also mentioned. These straps do feature a hook and loop patch that is designed to secure and collect any excess...

  • Short Length Transom Strap Recommendation
The shortest length transom strap we have is the BoatBuckle Pro Series Kwik-Lok Transom Tie-Down Straps # IMF17631 that is 2 feet in length. These should work well for you. They would have no problem going down to 10 inches in length. I attached an install video for you to check out that shows them being installed and used.

  • Can CE Smith Boat Trailer be Used with a Porta-Bote
You probably would not have to modify CE Smith boat trailer # CE48810 to use it with your Porta Bote. The boat would just have to be properly secured to the trailer. The trailer can support boat up to 12 feet long and up to 800 pounds. For straps I recommend a transom tie down such as # IMF17631. Other useful straps you can use include # EM34423 which you can bolt directly to the trailer frame. Other than that I do not foresee any modifications being necessary.

  • Can BoatBuckle Pro Series Tie-Down Straps # IMF17631 Be Adjusted For Less Than 24 Inches
The BoatBuckle Pro Series Tie-Down Straps, part # IMF17631, have a maximum tie-down length of 24 inches. The straps can be tightened down to a length less than 24 inches. You should have no problem using them if you have a tie-down length of 22 inches. It will not leave much excess strap. I would also look at the BoatBuckle Pro Series Tie-Down Straps, part # IMF17632. These straps have a maximum tie-down length of 48 inches and can be tightened down to 22 inches, but will leave you with...
