Under-platform ladders are great for providing quick access to your boat from the water without taking up valuable deck space. The sliding design of this ladder allows it to attach under the deck and collapse into the mount when it's not in use for a clean look. The built-in latch secures the ladder when it's stowed to ensure that it stays in place.

To deploy the ladder, simply undo the latch and slide the ladder out of the base. The telescoping legs can then be quickly extended down for use.

Sturdy, Durable Construction

The ladder rungs are covered with UV-resistant, non-skid plastic step pads that ensure steady footing. The ladder is constructed of high-quality 304 stainless steel, which resists corrosion and pitting. The steel has also been electropolished to remove impurities and create a smooth surface free of imperfections. As a result, the ladder is easy to clean and even more resistant to corrosion than untreated stainless steel.

Video Transcript for Review of Jif Marine Boat Ladders - Pontoon Boat Ladder - JIF95VR

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this sliding under platform pontoon boat ladder. This is a three-step ladder that's gonna make it much easier for you to get back up into your pontoon boat after you've been out swimming. It has a 400 pound weight capacity, so it's gonna be very sturdy. Great for even large people like myself, to be able to get back up into the boat.

This is gonna mount underneath your deck. So, it is gonna be out of the way. Especially, when you collapse it in. This does fold in, so that it's gonna be a nice compact storage. It does have a spring loaded closure here.

So as we push it in, it's gonna catch on this hook. That's going to keep it stowed away for us. Nice and sturdy. Out of the way option there. When we're ready to get back in the water, just push that in.

And expand it out like that. Now from our mounting bracket, down to the end of our ladder, it's about 34 inches. Our rungs are spaced, center to center, about 11 inches apart. So it's gonna be very comfortable climbing back up into our boat cause they're gonna be spaced out. So, we don't have to really reach up too high for the next step.

And you can see on top of each rung, we do have a non-skid plastic tread. That's gonna make it much easier for us to climb up without having to worry about our wet feet slipping on that metal. Our metal construction is an electropolished 316 stainless steel. So, it is gonna be extremely corrosion resistant. It's also gonna be very smooth. So, it's gonna make it much easier to clean. On the top side, we are going to have a pre-drilled mounting bracket. So you can see, we have these 1/4 inch holes here along the top. So, we can just drill our screws up through there to get them connected to the underside of our deck. Now the hardware is not included, so you will have to provide that yourself. But it should be very easy to get this mounted in place. As far as our dimensions go, the mounting bracket is right at 12 1/8 of an inch. If we're counting our bolts here from our ladder up, 12 1/8 of an inch wide. When we have everything stowed up in place, our stowed length is gonna be approximately 15 1/2 inches. So, it's not gonna take up a whole lot of room on the underside of your pontoon. And it will be there for you when you're wanting to go out and enjoy the water, and get back up into the pontoon. So, that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
