Love this product! Installed it on my 94 Mercury Villager. Now I can see how close I am to vehicles, curbs and/or trailers when backing up. Very helpful, highly recommend this.

Well the mirror is still stuck onto our GLK 350 rear window and in great condition here in Canada; it made it through all four seasons, from summer through to spring.

It has been useful for hitching up our tent trailer and for parallel parking so as to not bump the vehicle behind.

One consideration to have before buying would be that the distance in view behind the vehicle is quite limited. To use it effectively the vehicle needs to be moving very slowly. This is not really a backup camera substitute but rather a trusty tool for trailer-hitching and slow, careful maneuvering.

Mini vans before reversing camera are no longer backing up with a blind spot directly in the lower middle. I have seen many mini van with a dent on the rear facing door and I immediately know what the cause was. Blind spot! This mirror is awesome.

As always, the ordering process from etrailer was flawless, shipping was fast and the item was well-packaged. The mirror and hardware are all high quality, but it didn't provide much help aligning my 5th wheel hitch to the trailer when I attached it to the truck rear window. I have a sliding rear window, so I had to attach it off-center on the window, which put the image of the hitch on the edge of the convex mirror, causing it to be so distorted that I really couldn't tell where the trailer pin was in relation to the hitch.

I removed the mirror mount from the rear window by sawing through the adhesive pad with fishing string, applied some double sided trim tape to the mount and reattached it centered on the pin box on the trailer.

The image of the hitch is less distorted now, so it does provide some help, but I don't think it's optimum. It is a fairly low cost option that might be OK for some folks, especially if you can attach it to the center of your window, but I think I will eventually mount a camera back there.

I was very happy with the item. I did not expect it to be of such good quality. I will be using it to guide my 5th wheel rv onto the hitch. I have a supercab f150 and cannot see the coupler from the driver's seat.

I will definitely use etrailer in the future.

Great product. This will save serious time hooking up, fully adjustable. Will also save many trips in & out of the tow vehicle. Thanks again.

Still good as new. No complaints.

Still good as new. Great product

Although I followed directions to the letter in applying the mirror, it fell off within 2 months. Not worth the money I spent on it.

See what our Experts say about this K Source Blind Spot Mirror

  • Can the K-Source Backup Mirror # KSC088 Fit Curved Windows
Nearly all back windows have at least a slight curve to them and the K-Source Backup Mirror # KSC088 that you referenced will fit them and stick just fine. The adhesive on the mirror has a thick pad-like material that will allow it to conform to slight curves in the mounting surface. Basically the material will compress slightly to match the curvature of the window so that the adhesive will apply uniformly to the surface.

  • What Will I See When I Look at a K-Source Backup Mirror, # KSC088, Mounted on My 2009 Toyota Rav4
The K-Source Backup Mirror - Stick On, part # KSC088, is adjustable and has a fish eye lens to give you the optimum viewing of whats behind you. The viewing range on this # KSC088 is up to six feet behind where you mount the mirror on your vehicle, and as wide as your bumper. You will see your spare tire in the mirror when you look into it, but you should be able to see well beyond the spare tire as well.

  • Can the K-Source Backup Mirror Part # KSC088 be Moved After Installation
The K-Source Backup Mirror part # KSC088 is not designed for multiple uses. If the mirror has already been attached and secured, it cannot be moved to another location. The double sided adhesive tape used to attach the mirror is not rated for this type of application. The only option I have for you would be to use a similar double sided tape to reattach the mirror or purchase a new one. I recommend using masking tape to layout the position of the mirror as this will eliminate the risk...

  • How to Remove K-Source Back Up Mirror # KSC088
Your current back up mirror similar to the K-Source # KSC088 that you referenced is most likely stuck on with an adhesive. What you can do is run floss or fishing line under the adhesive to separate it from the glass.

  • Can I Mount this Backup Mirror K-Source, #KSC088, to the Body of my 2009 Toyota 4Runner
As long as you have a relatively flat surface to mount this mirror to you should have no problem installing this K-Source Backup Mirror on your 2009 Toyota 4runner. This KSC088 mirror mounts using an adhesive, so you will not have to use any tools or make any permanent modifications to mount this on your 4Runner. The dimensions of this mirror are 12-1/2 inches long x 7-1/2 inches wide.

  • Is Mirror Piece for Stick On K-Source Backup Mirror Replaceable
The K-Source Backup Mirror # KSC088 doesn't come with just the mirror part available so you would need to replace the entire mirror unit. If you're within the 90 day warranty I recommend taking advantage of that since it sounds like the mirror malfunctioned.

  • Will the K-Source Backup Mirror Fit a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country
The K-Source backup mirror # KSC088 is not vehicle specific so you can use it on your 2006 Chrysler Town and Country. Another option is to install a backup camera such as # RVS-5350. I used a similar camera for years and it was one of the best investments I made for a vehicle.

  • Options for Visibility of King Pin Alignment When Hitching 5th Wheel Trailer
The K-Source Stick-On Backup Mirror # KSC088 is really meant to install on the smooth glass surface of a vehicle's rear window. The painted steel surface of a 5th wheel pin box might not be quite smooth enough to provide for safe installation. You might be able to modify it for screw-on installation to your trailer's overhang but I would not recommend drilling mounting holes into your pin box until you confirm with the pin box maker that this will not void your warranty. It will probably...

Basically the material will compress slightly to match the curvature of the window so that the adhesive will apply uniformly to the surface. It's a very strong double-sided tape basically. It's going to last a very long time.

  • Recommendations to Assist with Aligning a 5th Wheel Hitch and Trailer King Pin
The # KSC088 K-Source backup mirror would work for aligning your fifth-wheel hitch and king pin, but this mirror will only allow you to see a field up to 6' behind the mirror. If your truck has a long bed, you would not be able to see the king pin until you backed up enough to get it into the field of vision for the mirror. The Swift Hitch wireless backup camera # 04928 would work great for aligning your trailer and fifth-wheel hitch. You can mount the camera on any metal surface in...

  • Recommended Rear-View Camera Solution to Assist Hitching Gooseneck Trailer
Although many of the camera systems we offer might be modified or altered in some way that would allow the camera to mount to the inside of the rear window glass, none of them are designed to mount that way directly out of the box. My best recommendation for a camera-type solution would be the Swift Hitch Portable Wireless Camera System, available with a 4-hour battery, part # 04928 or a 10-hour battery, as part # SH02DIGITAL. Both systems are rechargeable and the cameras can be temporarily...

  • Can The K-Source Backup Mirror Be Used On The Left Side Of The Rear Window

  • Will The K-Source Backup Mirror Increase Visibility For A 2010 Toyota Camry In Tight Parking
I pulled the K-Source Backup Mirror # KSC088 from the warehouse and tested it out on some fellow employee vehicles to see just how much visibility it can add and found that it's not really compatible with slanted back windows like you'd have with your Camry. • Recommended Options For Better Fifth Wheel Hitching Visibility
I have a few possible solutions for you. The low-tech approach would use a mirror like part # KSC088. The mirror would stick to the outside of your rear window, and could be angled in such a way so that you can easily see how your hitch and king pin are lining up. A more high tech approach would use a camera like the # RA7710 from Rampage. The camera has a magnetic base that would allow it to mount in your truck bed. The camera would use your Android or iOS smart phone as a monitor. Another...
