Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a two-inch CASS coupler with a three-position channel bracket. The CASS coupler with a three-position channel bracket makes it easy to cuff on your trailer. The coupler features a spring-loaded auto-engaged latch mechanism that lets you quickly lock it to a hitch ball with just one hand, so it's easy to do, it's easy to operate. What you need to do is take off the pen and clip. It's held on there with a tether so you don't have to worry about misplacing that or losing that, and then the latch mechanism right here, this is the auto-engage, so when you drop it over the hitch ball, it'll automatically allow it to connect to the hitch ball. But also, this can be pinned back to the open position.
You just pull that back, place the pin in the groove, and then the latch will rest on top of that. So that holds it in the open position for even easier connecting.Then when you're ready to secure the hitch ball, allow that latch to drop back into this position, and then take your pin and clip and secure it, and that prevents the latch from accidentally opening and releasing from the hitch ball. So the latch can be pinned open for ease of uncoupling or coupling. The three-position channel bracket allows height adjustability to level your trailer, so the bracket actually welds to your trailer, and then the coupler bolts onto the channel bracket with the included hardware. Fasteners, again, are included.
The unit's made of rugged CASS steel. This is designed to work with a two-inch hitch ball, and it has a weight capacity of up to 10,000 pounds. The bracket, edge-to-edge, measures four inches. Top to bottom, it's 7 5/8 inches. And that's gonna do it for today's look at the two-inch CASS coupler with a three-position channel bracket..

High quality great hitch. If I was going to buy another hitch this would be it. My only complaint is it comes as raw cast iron. No paint or finish on it. Doesn’t take long and it’s solid rust.

I know that the coupler comes with just bare metal (no primer; no paint). But this coupler is rusty, and it will take a fair amount of labor to sand off all of the rust. I don't believe that you should ship rusty parts.

I ordered this trailer coupler to replace the worn out coupler on my boat trailer. I needed a class 4 unit to handle the weight. I finished installation yesterday. It's a very robust coupler and appears to be well designed/manufactured. The ability to adjust height as well as interchange coupler type is valuable as I can use different tow vehicles without a problem.

Makes hooking up and disconnecting a trailer much easier. Especially helpfully when using the 3-point hitch on my tractor. You simply back up to the trailer, raise the 3-point hitch hydraulics and the coupler latches without you ever having to get off the tractor. Time saving and probably a safety feature not being between a heavy trailer and whatever you use to tow it. Huge upgrade to the clumsy screw-lock coupler that came with the trailer!

Seems to be well made and heavy duty. Comes with gussets for when welding channel on trailer. Comes unpainted for welding and then painting of your color choice.

This thing is beefy! After I welded it on and put some paint on it I couldn’t be happier with the product. The extra holes make it easy to bolt on some safety cables.

1 year in. LOVE the ease of hooking up the trailer. Grandpa especially loves how it just clicks into place by dropping the Tongue onto the hitch. Don't forget to paint it right away.. it looks like its got a coating, but no, Its raw steel.

Missing bolts, package was ripped end to end. Not such a big deal. Very light duty box to package in and lucky I received hitch or bracket.

- 2" Trailer Coupler Alternative for 4" Trailer Tongue ChannelThe largest channel size we have fits a 3" wide channel so you'll have to do some modifications to get it to fit. Alternatively, we also have the Buyers Products Coupler w/ 3-Position Adjustable Channel # 3370091543 which is a weld-on application that you can potentially use if your trailer tongue design allows. For this type of installation it's best to consult a professional welder or trailer shop who has done this type of work before.

I also went to our warehouse and pulled one to confirm the measurement and the channel is definitely 3" wide. I don't see a 2-7/8" channel coupler available...

The overall depth is about 9-5/8 inches from the back of the channel to the front of the coupler. The overall height is about 5-1/2 inches.
