Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we have our replacement hardware for your Yakima Fairings. These are gonna be designed for the fairing used with your roof cargo basket, and if you have a fairing for your roof rack that's gonna be different hardware. These include all the clips as well as the snap rivets needed for your fairings of different sizes. Although please double check our product page for the exact part number just to make sure it matches yours. The way this works is that you get your clip and you fit it underneath your fairing, then you get your rivet.

So the rivet goes over, and then you have this snap bolt which goes over the rivet, and then you push down where it expands. You're gonna get four clamps which go along the bottom of your fairing, and you're gonna get two clamps used for your support pool. The support pool clamps install similarly to the other clamps, except you have to feed them into the support pool first before you rivet it down. For older fairings and roof baskets, especially ones that have been regularly used for years, I've noticed that these snap rivets tend to seize and you can't unscrew them with a screwdriver. In those situations, to remove the fairing clips you are gonna have to snap them off.
