Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement fairing for the Yakima LoadWarrior Cargo Basket. Now this part here will replace the factory original specially designed fairing for your Yakima LoadWarrior cargo basket. Works on the product number Y07070 or the part number Y07070-74. Both of those items we do sell separately on our website. Basically, this fairing is designed to mount directly to the front of the cargo basket.
Now, the mounting hardware to install this is not included. We do sell that separately and it is listed on this product page as a related product. It's part number Y8870039. Now when this is installed, it will be installed at the angle and it'll help reduce wind noise and the drag that's on the roof rack. If you notice, this does have the Yakima silver logo on it.
Now, the overall length on this from this end all the way to this end is 38 1/2 inches. The width of it is five inches wide and this is for a quantity of one replacement fairing. But that should do it for the review on the replacement fairing for the Yakima LoadWarrior cargo basket.

Fairing mounts to the front of the basket to reduce wind noise and drag.The Yakima LoadWarrior Fairing is FANTASTIC. The wind-noise from my Loadwarrior at any speed above 50mph (which is most roads in Texas) was UNBEARABLE. This fairing cut-out easily 70% of the wind noise and only took me about 2 minutes to install it. Shipping was pretty quick too, even with this whole COVID-19 junk going on. Only warning is for anyone who likes driving with their sunroof open, naturally a good amount of wind does get pushed in through the sunroof with the fairing on (I counter this by keeping my sunroof only half open now). For anyone whose basket sits on top of your sunroof, going up to the windshield of your car, I imagine adding a fairing won't create the same sunroof problem as with my own, since mine is placed just behind my sunroof.

Yakima load warrior wind fairing replacement part fits perfectly and makes the old basket look new again! Excellent price point. I will probably order another for a future backup if needed. 2009 Nissan Xterra.

Perfect, brand new, authentic Yakima fairing exactly as described and shipped faster than expected. This is about the only place to find a Loadwarrior Fairing and they aren't price gouging us. If you need one, save yourself some time and just get this.

Product quality is fine-its Yakima-all their stuff is good.
Packaging could have been better the cardboard sleeve was slightly shorter than the fairing and a portion stuck out.
Cracked my original in a car wash. Yakima didn't even have the replacement on their site. This one was the same material and quality. Should get me another 15 years of use just like the original.

Shipped very quickly. Very well packaged. Fairing fit perfectly to my rack, also purchased the mounting hardware from this site. The fairing doesn't include the mounting hardware but they both worked out great.

Its still holding up great! No cracks at all. We use our basket frequently and the fairing is doing its job well!
