Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement Speedknob Assembly for the Yakima Stage 2 Bike Racks for two inch Hitches. Now, this part here is what'll replace the Speedknob Assembly for your Yakima Stage 2 Bike Rack on two inch Hitches. This will work with the bike rack part numbers is 8002725 and 8002740. Both of those bike racks, we do sell separately on our website.

This part here will include the knob, the wedge that screws onto the end right here, this spring, and then the control key. Now, this does not include the lock core. You do have to order that separately if you want to lock it. This key here is just to remove this plug here to put your lock core in. Now, this Speedknob Assembly will allow you to install your bike rack into your hitch receiver without the need for tools.

Turning this knob deploys an anti-rattle wedge in the shank to help take play out of the hitch connection. And then again, the lock that you would install on this hand knob will secure that rack to your vehicle. The hand knob will spin freely when it's locked, so a would-be thief can't operate it.
