Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the fat bike adapter, for the Thule Upride roof bike rack. This adapter lets you carry a bike with fat tires on your Thule Upride roof bike rack that's part number TH-59000. This is designed to work with tires up to five inches wide. It's a very simple installation, just remove the original cradle assembly, and slide this one into place. And that's really all there is to it. So it's nice, easy to do, easy to use, easy to install.
It's got the same type of strap system that the original cradle has, except this one just features the nice long strap for fat tire bikes. It's got the actual wheel protector right there, so you can make sure that makes contact with the rim of the wheel, and that's going to keep the strap from rubbing and scratching, or causing any type of damage.And you just feed it through here, and then you pull out the slack, and that grabs onto each little indention, which prevents the unit from being able to back feed. And then when your ready to remove or loosen the strap, you just press in on the release lever, and then you can pull the strap.That's going to do it for today's look at the fat bike adapter, for the Thule Upride roof bike rack.
