This key is for an older model Sears roof top carrier. I wanted to have a spare in case the only one that came with the carrier got lost. etrailer.com was the only place I could find it. The key came quickly and works as good as the original.

It works
I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.
They did a great job communicating and letting us know when it shipped, and making it easy for us to track during shipping.
I had a SEARS SPORT 20-SV (roof top cargo carrier )with lock numbers 2818 right above where you insert the key. I just added the letter (N) before the. So I ordered N2818 and it worked perfectly!! Two day shipping was right on time.
Worked for my 1989 VW GTI's roof rack. Very nice that you can still order older keys for older Thule units.
