Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at the track rack ladder adapters for your Thule Hideaway awnings. So folks, these adapters will let you attach your Thule hideaway awning to your pre 2018 track rack ladder racks, and I'll put those two items up there on the image screen and also the Thule hideaway awnings. Now, the locking hood does help protect awning theft. So this guy here does come in two pieces. You get a nice heavy metallic L bracket here.

It's been powdercoated, it slides right into this plastic housing. There's the backside and you get all the included hardware, the T bolts, stainless steel, all the locking nuts and washers, the two lock cores and keys, the wrench tool to install it and you get this little guy. A lot of people mistake this for a master key. That's not what it is at all. It looks like a key.

It's literally just a tool. So when you have this lock core unlocked, this tool can go in here and it can go all the way in and it actually goes far enough back to actually twist this whole thing as one unit and lock it into place where it needs to go. So that's again, just a change tool. You're gonna get everything here again, nice two year warranty. Keep in mind, you need a minimum crossbar spread of 36 inches for this to work.
