Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here@etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the deluxe flagpole from tailor-made. This is going to give you a nice place to mount your flag on your boat to have it fly behind you. And it comes with the mount to go on your boat. Has a little bit of a tilt to it so our flag can fall nicely behind us and furl out and catch the wind. It's pretty easy to get this installed. Again, comes with the mount and then a backing plate for that.
So this is going to go underneath where we're going to mount it. Comes with the hardware to get that attached as well.So you shouldn't have to worry about picking up any extra supplies as far as that goes. And then once you have the flagpole in place, you tighten it down with that set screw there. To get your flag attached, there are a couple of little attachments here on the top, and these are also adjustable. You can actually set the set screw here and make sure that the flag stays in the same spot so you can keep it from getting bunched up or anything like that.
You'll just need an Allen key to get in there to loosen those up.As far as the measurements with this, it is a total of 36' long. I'm going to verify that here with my handy tape measure. If we go from the very top of the knob, it's about 38'. If we go to where we can actually mount the flag, that gives us 36, so about three feet, and then the diameter of the pole itself is about an inch. Our mount, it's about two and three quarter inches.
And the height for that portion, whenever your flag is not installed, it's about two inches, maybe two and a quarter.There's about a 60 degree lean to this again, to give it that nice angle to it. Is made of stainless steel so you shouldn't have to worry about any rust or corrosion, it should last you a long time. It looks very nice and that's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at the tailor-made deluxe flagpole. We do a lot of flags to go on these as well and also different sizes. If you need something a little bit different, we should have you set.

- Where is the Taylor Made Deluxe Boat Flag Designed to Be MountedTypically the Taylor Made Deluxe Boat Flag # 369905 is designed to be mounted on the gunwales, because there is a more sturdy surface for it to be mounted into as opposed to a hollow piece of fiberglass. However, if your boat roof isn't hollow and has some sort of thick ribbing through it (or it's metal) , I don't see any reason that you can't mount it on that surface. You may want to fabricate some sort of backing plates in order to provide added stability for this type of installation,...
