Troubleshooting Back Up Camera that Shuts Off When Door Opens
Does the camera come right back on when the door opens? Does the off/on seem intermittent or solid with the door opening/closing? If solid then you must have the camera powered by the interior light circuit of your vehicle and when the interior lights turn off (when the door closes) the camera turns off. Otherwise you have an intermittent wire connection between the camera and the vehicle and you'd need to check the connections.
