Cramped RV shower spaces are no longer a problem with the Extend-A-Shower curtain rod from Stromberg Carlson. Enjoy some elbow room while you shower by using this rust-resistant, satin powder coated steel rod that extends the position of your shower curtain out from your shower stall. You get an additional 6-1/2 inches to 9-1/2 inches of depth, depending on the width of your shower. Just pivot the Extend-A-Shower rod into the shower when it's not in use so it is out of the way, giving you a little more space in the bathroom. Stainless steel are included to secure the rod to the inside of the shower stall so it will stay in place when your RV is in motion.

One of these hinged shower rods came in our travel trailer and makes a huge difference in how cramped the bathroom/shower feels. So when I was doing a bathroom remodel in a tiny house I knew I wanted to use one of these space savers. This website shipped the shower rod promptly, it is a sturdy product, installed easily, and works well. Highly recommend. The price is worth it to have the extra elbow room in an RV-sized shower, and to be able to create more space visually when the shower isn’t in use.

I needed more space when taking a shower. The bathroom is also small. The great trick with this product is it expands outward while taking a shower and inward when not in the shower. See attached pics. It's the best of both worlds!!

Great for adding space. However, the hazards of screws into a new RV cause another issue. Hopefully another product can be added to secure the item without screws. Maybe a spacer with an extremely strong adhesive.

I have a Jayco travel trailer and we love it but for a 6' guy the shower was a bit cramped. Every time I would turn around I'd get tangled up a bit in the shower curtain.
I've bought several products from etrailer before and stumbled across this product looking for some kind of solution to my shower problem. I didn't think it would work as well as it does but it's great. Installation was very easy and it doesn't cause the shower curtain to leak.
If you feel a bit cramped and need some extra room in your RV shower I highly recommend this product as it works exactly as advertised.

This product gives you a little extra room and folds in to make room as well. It is really helpful to give you a little extra space and not feel so cramped, and sit the shower curtain inside the shower pan.

I have added several “upgrades” to my camper since I bought it and this is definitely my favorite! RVs aren’t known for having very big showers and this makes all the difference in the world when showering. If your RV has a regular style shower curtain rod you’d be crazy not to swap it for this!

I purchased a show encloser for my Rv and a Extend-A-Shower curtain rod. This thing is the greatest invention ever made for tight spaces. Highly recommend, well made product and super service and delivery.

We removed the shower doors and installed this adjustable curtain rod. We have so much more room when showering now. If your shower doors leaves you little room to comfortably move around while showering this is a must have!

Everything worked out just fine on my shower rod. Since the rod was made to last for years to come, I removed some paneling from my shower to install blocking, so that I would have the support needed for a product that would last for years, with no problems. Thanks!

THIS IS THE MOST UNIQUE SHOWER ROD. WE HAVE A STAND UP SHOWER IN OUR HOUSE THAT IS A 36"X36" AND I COULD NOT FIND A CURVED ROD TO FIT IT. SO I FOUND THIS ONE. HOW COOL. WE HAVE ANOTHER ONE FOOT IN OUR SHOWER. NOW. NO THOUCHING THE CURTAIN WHILE TRYING TO SHOWER AND WASH YOU HAIR. AND THE PIVOTING SECTIONS THERE ARE 2. ARE GREAT WHEN YOU FINISH YOUR SHOWER,. JUST PUSH EACH ONE INSID THE SHOWER AND IT GIVES YOU MORE ROOM IN YOUR BATHROOM. I WAS WORRIED THE CURTAIN WOULD NOT STAY INSIDE THE SHOWER STALL DUE TO COMING OUT SO FAR BUT NO PROBLEM. IF YOU HAVE A SMALL SHOWER STALL. AND NEED MORE ROOM THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU. **ITS NOT AS PRETTY AS THE CURVED ONES BUT**MUCH MORE FUNCITIONAL... VERY EASY TO INSTALL.

- How to Operate the Stromberg Carlson Extend-A-Shower Shower Curtain Rod Part # EXT-3542SThere are a total of four pivot points on the Stromberg Carlson Extend-A-Shower Shower Curtain Rod part # EXT-3542S. The bar has two pivot points and each mounting foot has a pivot point. The pivot points will allow you to flip the rod in or out depending on if it is in use or not. Product functions well and folds in and is non obtrusive. Turning around and not brushing the shower curtain is now not moving allowing water outside the shower.
