Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this sea sucker vacuum cup, solar panel mount. This is going to allow you to attach your solar panel securely and safely to virtually any surface on your vehicle so that you can get it right where you need it. To get the most sunlight. This is going to give you two of these four and a half inch diameter vacuum cups that will install onto metal, fiberglass, or glass in seconds. It's really easy to get those attached.
Just press down firmly and then you pump. You can see this orange stripe on the pump here on the plunger. That's going to indicate when it does have a vacuum seal. So as long as you're not seeing that orange it is going to be secure for you, and it will have a 120 pound pull strength. And so it is going to be very secure.
This does give you two attachment points. You've either got the one on the top here or you've got the one on the side. So depending on how you need to orient your solar panel, you can use either of those. And then we've got this seven inch flexible arm that's going to allow you to position your solar panel perfectly so you can get the maximum sun exposure. Now this will work with solar panels that are 14 inches by 22 inches wide.
If you have more, if you have a larger panel than that, you will need more than one of these mounts. So very simple, again, if you get your solar panel mounted in place, turn this so you can see that a little bit better. So you just press firmly and then you pump. It's going to vacuum pump that air out get a nice tight seal there so then we can orient our solar panel whichever direction we need to. And that arm is going to bend so that we can get that set up whatever angle works best for us.
So, it's going to be very convenient way of getting your solar panel mounted in place, and adjusting the angle to perfectly capture that sunlight, so you're getting the most out of your solar panels. And then to release, it's very simple, you just break that suction seal. So you've got little tabs here that you pull up on. Like so. (vacuum cup clicks) There you go, it releases in seconds so you don't have to undo the pumping or anything. And as you can see, that orange plunger is going to be visible again once that seal is broken. And then once you are done with it, you can very easily take it apart, and safely store it in the included protective case. And so those suction cups will come off of that arm. (object dropped onto table) They do include covers for the suction cups. So we'll put those in place to protect those, vacuum cups. Like so. And then this case is zippered, so we can open that up. Put our vacuum seal on one side, like so. Put that arm in there and seal that up for easy storage. This case is approximately, nine inches long by about seven inches wide, and three inches deep. And so it is going to be very convenient to get stored away. They also include clips here, so you can get that hung up in a convenient spot for you. So this system is obviously gonna do a great job of holding your solar panel in place, but it is not exclusive to solar panel. So you could use this for other applications if you wanted to hold an iPad up on your counter while you're cooking to look at a recipe or to watch a show or to, you could even use it to hold a door open if you wanted to. Really any situation where you're wanting to hold two non-porous surfaces together, this is gonna work great for you. I got that adjustable angled arm so that you can fit just about any application. It is made here in the USA so you can trust it is gonna be good quality and it does come with a limited lifetime warranty. So if you we're to have any issues with it you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com. But I think this is gonna be a pretty straight-forward way of getting your solar panels mounted up in the most convenient location. And that completes our look for today again I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
