Hello everybody, this is Jeff with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the SeaSucker vacuum mount paper towel holder. Now this is a portable holder to let you mount a paper towel roll where you need it. So it's great for use on your boat or on land. Basically it has this vacuum mount on this end here. It's a mount to most non-porous glass, fiberglass, metal, or plastic surfaces using the four and a half inch diameter vacuum cup.
And if you notice it comes with the protective cap that you wanna put on there when you're not using it to protect that vacuum mount cup from getting damaged. The pull rating on this is about 120 pounds, and it does attach or remove in seconds. I am gonna demonstrate it. You can see on this end it has this end cap that'll keep your paper towels in place even has this little lever on it that you push down to keep those paper towels secure, from unrolling. So what I'm gonna do is to demonstrate this, where I'm gonna demonstrate it is on this back wall here.
Let me just zoom in, this back dry wall here. And this is a porous surface, so this isn't the best surface to do it on, but it will work. I just wanna demonstrate how this works. You do want to use it on a non-porous surface. So basically what you'll do, is take your vacuum mount end right there, put it up against the wall, and holding a little pressure on it up against the wall, you keep some pressure on it, you just start pumping this plunger right here.
(plunger squeaks) And as you keep plunging it, it's gonna cause a vacuum. And what'll happen after a few plunges, you'll notice that orange ring disappears, and once that disappears pump it a couple times, and now it's secure. As we said, "It has a pull rating of 120 pounds." So what I'm gonna do now is pop off this end cap, just like that. And now it's open, you can see, and I'm gonna grab a roll of paper towels I happen to have right here. And again, just push them together, slide it on just like that, holds it in place.
And again, to keep it secure, take your end cap, (cap clicks) And just go ahead and push that into place. And like I said, here's this lever. And what's nice about that, so this doesn't bounce around and keep on rolling, just push this lever down, and it'll hold it in place, keep it from unrolling, like that. And then you can pull off whatever paper towel you need. And if you start seeing that orange ring show, like it is there, just put a few more pumps on it, and it'll hold it in place. And the reason it's losing it is, 'cause like I said, this is a porous material. So if you've had this on a non-porous material, it'll pretty much stay secure. And then to remove it, just pull off your end cap right here. (cap clicks) Just like that. Replace your paper towels. (holder clicks) And then again, I'm just gonna put my cap back on here. (cap clicks) Just like that. And then again, to remove it, it's pretty simple. There's two little ledges on each side. Just pull up on those, right here, and it'll release the vacuum and you can remove it, and mount it wherever you need. Now this is a hard plastic construction, it's very lightweight, pretty durable. It is in a white color, you can see, it is made in the USA. Last thing I wanna do is give you a few dimensions. I'm gonna go ahead, and like I said, when you're not using it, just go ahead and put this plastic protective cap back on it so it doesn't cut or damage your cup. There you go. Just like that. Overall length on this, if we put a tape measure on it, it's gonna be right at about 14 inches long. The height, including the little plunger. Now the cup, we mentioned, is four and a half inches in diameter. But if you put it with this plunger, it's almost about five inches tall. But that should do it for the review on this SeaSucker vacuum mount paper towel holder.
