Hey everyone. It's Eve Angeline. And today we'll be taking a look at our replacement wheel tray for your Saris bike racks like the Saris Freedom or Saris SuperClamp right here at etrailer. You got your bike rack, and you're ready for adventure, but as you hit those trails, as you go for those rides, wear and tear happens. So that's why we have replacement parts. And this is gonna be the replacement part for the wheel tray or wheel cradle of your bike rack.
This doesn't fit all the Saris bike racks so definitely check out the product page so you can get the right fit for the right bike rack. There's two types of cradles or trays on your Saris bike racks. There's A and there's B. The B's are the trays on the outside. You can also see that there's a letter written on them.
The A's are the trays on the inside. Look for the letter A. This is gonna be a direct replacement for some of your bike racks. For example, this is the Saris SuperClamp HD. Our replacement part directly replaces B tray A on the inside of this bike rack.
So it's also gonna have the same capacities, same dimensions, measurements, and specs and materials. So this can carry a up to 4-inch bike tire on this wheel tray. To replace it, you loosen the knob as if you we're going to adjust the movement of the tray. So you're not gonna stop right there. You want to completely loosen this knob.
There is a nut underneath, so be ready to catch it. Now, unfortunately, taking off the wheel tray A is a little bit more difficult than it is to take off the wheel tray B. For B you just loosen a knob and then after that, you can slide it through the bike rack. For A since it's on the inside, after you loosen the knob, you're also gonna have to remove the clamps. So depending on if you have the Freedom or the SuperClamp or the SuperClamp HD, I have the SuperClamp HD, your process may be a little bit different. I use a six millimeter hex key on one side and an 11/16th wrench on the other side in order to loosen these bolts. So once those bolts are out, you are now able to remove the rest of the assembly. And now that the way is free, you're ready to slide this out. Go ahead, press that button at the end and replace it with your new one. The new one slides right through. Just don't tighten it down yet until you have your bike on there. And after you've reassembled your whole bike rack, well, that's how you replaced your wheel tray A. As you can see, replacing your wheel tray A is a little bit trickier than replacing your wheel tray B, but it's a good thing you have the correct replacement part for it. So hopefully this video helped you out with figuring how to replace your parts, what parts do you need replacing, and if this is the right fit for you, if the parts that need replacing is something else, maybe it's a strap on your bike rack. I had issues with receiving my Item. The web site needs to be changed on your wording for your economy shipping it says "USPS" when actually it is UPS to the Post Office then delivered, but if you have sent to the post office General Delivery the post will send it back to you. Even your help desk did not know this which cause this to happen twice. So I ended up paying for shipping 3 times. I would not have shipped if I knew it was UPS to start. It cost more to ship than the part. please correct the wording

The wheel holder replacements have held up really well. Ive loaded up the rock with mountain bikes and road bikes and taking several trips with no problems
