Today we're gonna take a look at the Reese Quick Install Custom Bracket kit for fifth wheel trailer hitches. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2015 and newer Ford F150 trucks, and on a custom fit part, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, user our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it will show if this will work for your application.Now these custom brackets are designed to mount beneath your truck bed. They do provide attachment points for the fifth wheel base rails, and the base rails are what will sit in your truck bed and allow the installation of the fifth wheel trailer hitch to your vehicle.Now we do sell those base rails separately. It's part number RP58058. Happen to have one of them here.
They do come in a set of two. I just wanted to show you what the base rail would look like, and that's what attaches to these custom brackets.These brackets, they are a vehicle specific bracket. They mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame, so it will minimize drilling and measuring, and it cuts your installation time in half when compared with the universal bracket system. These parts are a sturdy steel construction, have nice black coat powder finish to them that will resist corrosion. This kit will include everything shown here on the table: the two custom brackets, the hardware to install it, nice set of detailed instructions, and they also include the galvanic isolator strips here.

I'll change my review if it ever shows up at my door.
Worked great a little tricky to install figure instructions out before starting especially how the wires are used to install. Take extra time to put Jack stands under the axle and remove the spare tire and rear wheels will be a lot easier and quicker.
Brackets are very good instructions not very clear gas tank in the way on driver's side of 2018 F 150 super cab use regular bolts instead of stove bolts there and 2nd person would be helpful. Overall this is much better than universal brackets.
The parts fit great, were very easy to install (no drilling the frame) and I was able to install it alone in a few hours. Easiest hitch I have ever installed. Thanks etrailer
I requested 2 day shipping, received the product on time. I was a bit concerned when the directions said to drill the holes in the bed of the truck, but followed them as recommended. I was amazed that the hole I had predrilled were in perfect alignment of the frame adapters.
The only thing that cold have been better was the size and quality of the print on the instructions.
Easy to install & worked well with the rest of the hitch.
just finished installing underbed brackets (RP50087) and inbed rails on 2018 f150. need two people to install, or at lease it makes it more easy to install. This is a great product from etrailor, and works well for this model of ford.
Pro:Product was great, fit was as advertised.
Con: Missing 4 bolts and washers.
Trip to hardware store resolved but was very aggravating.

This did not fit my truck right. Front brackets fit fine. The rear brackets lined up with all the holes but the chassis strap brackets are wrong. The spacers are also too short. Contacted e trailer. They checked inventory said their boxes were all wrong also. They contacted the mfg and i waited a month only to get a box of bolts and spacers and no straps. Had to have some fabbed locally. This is for my 2024 silverado 2500 custom.
Instructions not clear enough/descriptive. Took 4 hours for my mechanic to install. would have been much simpler to loosen and lift box instead of taking everything apart as per instructions. Product seems good will know how it works after hitching up trailer.
