What Hardware is Included with Bracket Kit RP50087 Compared to Bracket and Rail Kit RP50087-58

Question:

Hi, I have a RP50087 Reese Quick Install Custom Bracket Kit that I am installing on my 2018 F150. My question is about the hardware included in the kit. There are 4 carriage bolts with washers and nuts- these hold the brackets to the frame. There are 8 hex bolts to hold the bed rails on, but there are NO nuts or washers for these. Why? Also, why would Reese include hex bolts instead of carriage bolts? The rails have the square holes for carriage bolts. My kit matches the photo in your listing of the 50087, but it seems there are parts missing.

There is some hardware in kit # RP50087-58 that comes with the rails and some of the hardware that comes with the frame brackets. The -58 in the part number indicates that it comes with the rails.

If you only ordered # RP50087 (I did not see an order for this when I checked) then you would not get the rail hardware, which is # RP58430, and only get the bracket hardware. The hardware that comes with just the bracket kit can still be used to attach the rails to the brackets if you already have rails. The 10 bolt kit would not be required.
