Today we're going to take a look at the replacement center section for the Reese 20,000 pound M5 fifth wheel hitch on the Chevrolet GMC and Ford OEM towing prep packages. This is just the replacement center section. It's designed to fit the 20,000 pound Reese M6 fifth wheel hitch OEM towing prep packages. On the hitch, part number RP30890. That part number is for the 2016 and newer Chevrolet GMC trucks. And also for the hitch part number RP30921, that's for the 2011 and newer Ford Super Duty trucks.
Both of those hitches we do sell separate on our website.You can see on the center section, it has a nice black powder coat finish to help resist rust and corrosion. And this is just the center section. This is where you'll bolt the legs of the fifth wheel hitch to, on each side here. And also attach the pivoting fifth wheel head to the top right here.Now the pivoting fifth wheel hitch head that goes on this is part number RP30892. Again, sold separately.
And the legs that bolt to the side of this center section depends on what vehicle you're putting on. If you're going to put it on the Chevrolet and GMC trucks, it would use the legs part number RP30889. And if you're going to put it on the Ford Super Duty trucks, you would use the legs part number RP30923. Again those items are sold separately.
