Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the trailer brake vented magnet for the Hayes and AL-KO 12 1/4 inch by 3 1/2 inch electric brakes. Now, this is a trailer ventilated brake magnet. Works on the Hayes and AL-KO 12 1/4 inch by 3 1/2 inch electric brakes. And basically, this magnet is what'll attach to the actuating arm on your brake assembly.
This will fit the 9,000 pound through 12,000 pound axles. It fits the 9,000 pound brakes after 1995. Fits the 10,000 pound brakes after 1987. And it fits the 12,000 pound brakes after 1989. Now, this ventilated brake magnet you can see here, this will not replace the old style oval design magnet that was used on the earlier brake assemblies.
