Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a real quick look at this rear view safety extendable monitor mount. Now, this mount is going to secure to your vehicle's windshield with this suction cup. And as you can see, this is going to come with a film on it to protect that suction cup when it's not in use. And I have a similar suction cup mount for my phone in my car and I have it mounted on my windshield and I found for best results, it's very good to begin with a clean windshield on the inside.

So you wanna make sure that the area you're gonna be mounting this to is going to be nice and clean. And once you have that clean, you're just going to peel back this film and then firmly push this up against the windshield. And once you have this firmly push against your windshield, you're just going to then move this lever to the on position and then that's going to activate that suction cup and it's gonna hold nice and strong. So this is going to be a very easy installation for you. And this has an adjustable arm.

So right now, I have it fully collapsed. And to extend that arm, you're just going to loosen this nut here and then that's going to allow you a range of extendability there. So when you have this fully collapsed, like I have it now, this is going to be about five inches long. And then you're gonna be able to fully extend that all the way out to seven inches long. So feels like it's very solid.

It doesn't feel flimsy or anything like that. So I think it's gonna be able to hold your monitor very securely even when it's fully extended. We also have this bottom joint here that's going to allow you quite a bit of flexibility there as well to give you that best angle for you so you can best see your monitor and then you just easily tighten that up. And then you have a flexible swivel head here as well. So as you can see, you're gonna be able to adjust your monitor to just about any angle that's going to be best for you.

And then this is where you're going to actually secure the monitor too. So you just loosen up these connection points here and then you'll just slide your monitor into that mount post there. And once you have it in, you're just going to tighten it up. So very flexible, very sturdy in my opinion. It's obviously made out of plastic, but as I said before, it doesn't feel flimsy or anything like that so I think it's going to be able to hold up really well for you. So again, you're gonna be able to adjust this from five inches all the way out to seven inches. It's gonna be a very easy install. And I think if this meets all the specifications that you're looking for, I think this is gonna work really well for you. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today.
