Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this NOCO X-Connect dual-size 12-volt plug. This dual-size plug is going to allow you to connect your NOCO Genius Battery charger to your vehicle's standard or mini 12-volt auxiliary port to charge the battery. The X-Connect female input here is going to be compatible with the models of the NOCO Genius Battery Charger that you see on the screen there. So if you have any of those battery chargers, you can trust this is gonna be compatible with your charger because it is a NOCO product. So no worries about compatibility issues or anything like that.
And then our 12-volt male output plug is going to either connect it directly to a cigarette lighter socket, auxiliary port, or other 12-volt connection. Or if we remove that adapter, it will allow us to plug this into a mini plug so it can connect to mini 12-volt, found on many motorcycles and power sport equipment. You can see we do have a little LED indicator there that's going to illuminate to signal that we do have an active connection. Our connectors are a rugged design, so they are molded to be dirt, water, UV, and impact resistant, so they will hold up well for us. Our cord is gonna have a 16 AWG copper wire that's going to allow for maximum current flow.
We do have the built-in 20 amp regular blade ATC fuse protector that's going to help protect your electronics from surges and dangerous overloads. When we're measuring the length of this, there can be a couple different ways to measure, different measuring points. So if we go from the inside of one connector to the inside of the other, we're right about 24 inches there. If we measure from the end of one connector to the end of the other, we're sitting right about 28 inches. But in my mind, it makes the most sense to go from the connector on one end to where this is going to enter your 12-volt connection.
So I'm gonna measure it about 27 inches, but you get the idea of how long this is gonna be. So it'll give you a little bit of room to make those connections, but it's not super long, so it's not gonna reach across your garage or anything like that. So you wanna make sure that your charger is pretty close. So if you are wanting to connect to your 12-volt or mini 12-volt port, this is gonna be a great way to adapt your battery charger to make sure that you can charge up that battery. That completes our look for today.
Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
