Today we're going to take a look at the JR Products gas shock mounting brackets with the 10 millimeter ball. It's for a quantity of two brackets. Now these mounting brackets are designed for the gas springs that have a 10 millimeter ball socket. The gas spring with the ball socket will just snap right onto the ball right here and this holds the gas spring in place. These are black coated steel construction. A few dimensions on these, the overall length one edge to the other is right at 2 1/2 inches long.
The width on them, it's going to be right at 1 13/16 inches wide, and the height on the ball mount is going to be right at about 1 1/8 inches tall. Now it does have five mounting holes on it for installation. The three holes at the bottom between each one, center to center, is one inch. And the two top holes center to center is 1 1/2 inches, and this is for a quantity of two mounting brackets.But that should do it for the review on the JR Products gas shock mounting brackets with the 10 millimeter ball..

JR Products socketing brackets for gas springs with 10-mm ball socket.Brackets are as seen in the picture. The only reason I gave them a 4-star rating, is that I'm not sure how strong they are. The pivot heads aren't screwed in, seem to be pressed and flared into the bracket. Since the bracket is pretty thin, not sure how strong that connection is. The hatch I'm supporting with each bracket is pretty heavy (50 lbs), so we'll see if there are any problems. If you don't see a later review, then everything worked out!

The brackets that I ordered came in a very timely fashion. They appear to be just what I need, although I have not yet had the opportunity to install them. I am constructing an exercise mat table that will fold up against a wall.
