Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. These locks have a shear strength of 32,000 lbs.
The short pin included with this set is used as a hitch lock to secure your B&W Continuum weight distribution system to your 2" or 2-1/2" hitch. The other 2 locks replace the pins that secure the weight distribution head to the shank.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with the etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at these InfiniteRule lock pins for your B&W Continuum. These heavy-duty flush-style locking pins are going to let you completely secure your B&W Continuum weight distribution system for two-inch and 2.5 inch hitches. These two longer pins are going to secure the adjustable weight distribution head to the shank. And the shorter pin that we have here up in front is going to secure the weight distribution shank to your trailer hitch. And again, this is going to work for your two-inch and 2.5 inch trailer hitch receiver.
Now, the key delight option is going to give you convenient one-key operation. And as you can see here, three keys are included, and I would like to give you a brief demonstration of how easy these are to lock and unlock. So I went ahead and removed my cap and I'm gonna go ahead and unlock this pin. So you begin by, obviously, inserting the key and turning counter-clockwise and you just keep turning until that head loosens up and then it comes right off just like that. As you can see here, we do have an O-ring that's going to protect the internal components from dirt and grime.
And then when you're ready to lock this back up, you just replace the head, turn the key clockwise. And again, you just turn it like a screw and like you're tightening the screw and you're gonna be able to feel the head of that pin tightening up and closing in on the the body of the pin there. And then once it's nice and tight, you can see it's secure. You are then going to back the key off to the nearest set of marks. There are marks around the key ring there and once it's tight enough, then you're just going to back that key off to the nearest marks, set of marks there.
And as you can see, that's going to allow you to remove that key. You replace the cap and you're locked and secured. So these are made here in the USA of durable, heavy-duty stainless steel. So that's going to prevent rusting. By the way, InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third party testing to determine shear strength.

So these locking pins have a shear strength of 32,000 pounds. Let me go ahead and give you some overall measurements. So we're gonna begin with our shorter pin, our hitch lock pin. So looking at the overall length, we are sitting right at 5 3/4 inches long. The diameter is five eights of an inch. And then the next measurement I want to give you is the inside length, also known as the span. So lining that up here on my ruler, you can see that inside length measures right at 3 1/8 inches. So moving on to our longer pins, I'm gonna take one of those, line it up here with our ruler. And then as you can see the overall length, we are sitting right at 6 5/8 inches long and the diameter is seven eights of an inch. And then once again, measuring that span or inside length, we are sitting right at four inches. So if you are looking for a great solution to completely secure your B&W Continuum weight distribution system for your two-inch and 2.5-inch hitches, these are gonna be a great option for you to consider. Works for the hyperhitch 9” adjustable drop 3” hitch. Needs two 3/4 pins if no pintle accessory and three if pintle accessory. Has the prefect span .

Although trailer theft is rare, I highly recommend this lock pin for your gooseneck combined with a hitch lock to prevent and deter the idea. Especially when having to leave your trailer unattended in a public parking lot or on the job. The simplest solution at a great price.

The product is great, getting it from ETRAILER is the problem, 2nd time had to order this, 1st time I ordered this part with 2 trailer rims that were said to be in stock, waited 10days for them to tell me they're waiting for the rims to come in from backorder 6months from now so we can ship everything together. It's spring I'd like to use my trailer before now. Poor customer service!!

I have a Gator Made 40 foot utility trailer and after speaking to a couple of your representatives, I decided to try this hitch lock (we weren't sure if it was long enough). Well, it was!! This locking pin adds a bit of security to my new LQ horse trailer. I have a coupler lock for the gooseneck, but realized the gooseneck can be removed by simply pulling the unlocked pin. Problem solved!!!

Replaced the quick pin with this locking pin to help prevent someone from easily stealing my expensive shocker air hitch. Nothing is 100% safe from thieves, but for the money it’s well worth it.

1st of all I think it's a little overpriced for what it is. But it works. also you say it's for a Gen. Y coupler it also does the shocker gooseneck coupler Shipping time was great.
