Today we're going to be taking a look at the inline filter for Hydromax RV Fresh Water Pumps. This is a twist on type strainer, that's designed to protect the performance of your RV water pump. It protects the pump by keeping dirt, debris, and other particles out of the pump. Also, prevents it from going into the fresh water units of your RV, like your sink, your faucets, shower, tub, all those kind of things. It really does a great job at keeping the dirt, debris, and particles from entering the pump, and the rest of the water system. The stainer can easily be disassembled, and re-assembled, for easy cleaning. All the points on this are watertight, so you don't have to worry about leaking. The transparent design shows when it's time to clean the actual strainer. The strainer's constructed of a mesh stainless steel. That's when it comes to the screen.
When it comes to the connection points, it's a half inch by 14 MNPT. It's a half inch by 14 FNPT. That's going to do it for today's look at the inline filter for the Hydromax RV Fresh Water Pump.

We had drained the water lines for winter but a bit remained in the water filter and caused it to crack and break. This replacement was an exact fit and was easy to replace.

Like many RV pumps and filters mine are hidden away under a cupboard floor so it was hard to check when winterizing last year and some residual water freezing in the filter cracked the case. Ordered a new Hydromax pump filter from e-trailer and it was a perfect replacement.

- Replacement Strainer For Obsolete SHURflo 170-019-00 The only strainers we currently carry are the Strainer and Swivel Connectors # LC689059 and Inline Filter # P25206VP. We have never carried the Shurflo 170-019-00 and it appears they are no longer available. You should be able to replace your strainer as these all use a 1/2"-14 threaded connectors.

- Does the Inline Filter for Hydromax RV Fresh Water Pump Come Wit Two Female FittingsThe part # P25206VP is designed to thread directly onto the Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump part # LC689054 with the Straight Barbed Fitting for HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump part # P25205VP threaded onto the other side. If you want to use the Inline Filter for Hydromax RV Fresh Water Pump in another application you'd simply need to use some sort of adapter like a union which will go from MPT to FPT, just be sure to use ABS plastic but you could get these adapters at most local home improvement...
