Today we'll be taking a look at the Maxx Air Replacement Shroud for the Coleman Mach and RVP Brand RV Air Conditioners.This is going to protect your air conditioner unit from anything that might come in contact with it. It's going to keep it out of the elements, and also help to make our air conditioner a little bit more aerodynamic. You can see the front end of the shroud has a more tapered design, so that lets air deflect up and over it, and also if you might be driving through an area that has some trees, this is going to help those trees to go up, or the branches to go up and over it as well instead of getting caught and causing any snags there.It's made of a very durable polyethylene plastic, so it's going to be UV resistant. We won't have to worry about any cracking, or fading over time. You'll see on the sides, we'll have a lot of different slats to let plenty of air in and out to make sure that our air conditioning unit doesn't get too overheated, and that everything can ventilate properly. That polyethylene is also going to be a high density material, so it should be able to withstand the typical impacts from debris, and rocks, and things like that as we're out on the road.
It helps to prevent that wind resistance as well with that aerodynamic shape.As far as the install, it's going to be pretty simple. We'll just have our four holes at the top. I'll tip this up, so you can see that there. It's just four bolts that will need to go down and in our air conditioner unit. It doesn't come with any replacement hardware, so if you need that you'll have to either use the hardware that came off of your old unit, or pick up some new hardware elsewhere.
It does come with two new foam pieces, to brace, or to protect our coils. It also has a single sheet of instructions on how to get everything installed, pretty simple, as I said, pretty straightforward. It shouldn't take too long to do.It is, as you can see, a nice white, arctic white color. This is a Made In USA product. As far as the overall dimensions, from front to back at the widest point, it's about 37" long, going from the middle of the shroud here to the middle on the other side, it's about 25" wide, and then it stands from top to bottom about 15, or excuse me, about 13 1/2" tall.
It does come split in half. There is some little flanges here where you'll have to assemble it together, but it just snaps in place, pretty easy to do.That's going to do it for our look at the Maxx Air Replacement Shroud for Coleman Mach and RVP Brand RV Air Conditioners.

This was about the easiest trailer repair I've ever had to do! Our trailer is older, and struggled to find the right size, but was lucky to find it, and the shroud fit perfectly and was super easy to install. The whole thing took me about 10 minutes. You do need to drill two holes, but drilling through plastic is a piece of cake!

I contacted retailer for a replacement air conditioner shroud for my rv. They needed to contact the manufacturer for the proper one. Shipping was fast and new shroud fit better than the original. The new one is a 2 piece instead of a one piece. Very happy with etrailers service and quality of the product

just opened the box containing the AC cover. everything looks good. looks like the correct cover. Tomorrow I will take the camper off the truck and try to replace the old with the new.

Not the same as the one piece but try and find that one. As a good alternative this is the one to get. Easy to place and fits well. Good quality and should last a long time in the Texas sun. Would recommend

The box this came in arrived battered and partially broken. The AC cover was in perfect shape and fit very well. I spent more time removing a stubborn bolt from the ac unit than I spent putting the halves together and attaching this new cover. It looks great!
