Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Air Suspension Compressor Kit - Air Line Tubing - F49ZR

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Firestone 18' long 1/4 inch diameter Air Line Tubing. Now this airline tubing kit includes 18 feet of red 1/4 diameter tubing. It can be used with the Firestone Air Helper spring systems. Basically, this air line is used to connect the airs to the air springs and allow you to inflate the air springs. Now, this is also available in a 22' long part number.

It's part number F99ZR, and even a 30 foot long part number, part number F9416. Also, we do recommend to use the air hose cutter to get you a perfect cut for a perfect seal on your hose. And that part number is AL10530. All of those items I just mentioned are listed on this product page as a related product. But that should do it for the review on this Firestone 18' long 1/4 diameter Air Line Tubing.

Replaced the tubing from my 20 year old Firestone airbags. I first bought cheaper tubing but the diameter was thinner and they leaked. This is OM and did the trick.

by:

Everything was exactly as I expected. I would buy more products from them.

Its still working as it was intended for..

by:

Perfect product. I had tried tubing sold to me by others but it always leaked. This product doesn't leak even one molecule. Haven't started the truck in months but the gage hasn't budged.

by:

Quick delivery and an awesome product. It doesn't get amy better than that!

by:

Great product and great fast service

by:

Kit was missing air hose, called customer service and received excellent service. Rating is for Firestone not etrailer.

by:

coupled into old line, this line working fine

by:

This was my second time to use etrailer and was pleasantly surprised by how fast I got what I needed. Unfortunately one of my items was not in stock after I placed an online order. When I called to cancel that part before I got off the phone, I had an email confirming the cancellation and a new order with all of the in stock parts. Shipped the next day and I had it a day later. You can't beat service like that and I wont try. They are great at communication and do what the say they are going to do.

by:

  • Replacement Brackets for Firestone Ride-Rite 2605 on a Newer 2020 Ford F-250
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F35FV is the updated kit for your 2020 Ford F-250. We no longer carry the old brackets for the 2605 kit as Ford Changed the Axle Jounce bumper tab on the 2020 and newer models and the older brackets will not work with the new axles. It may be worth noting that the warranty on the air bags is only for the original vehicle that it was installed on. So if you have warranty concerns you may be better with getting a new kit. You may also require...

  • How Often Should I add Air to my Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs on my 2015 Toyota Prius
When using the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs Part # F4136 on your 2015 Toyota Prius you should not have to add air on a regular basis. I sometimes see a slight pressure loss when it goes from hot outside to cold and you'll have to add a bit to get it back to pressure similar to the way a tire on a vehicle fluctuates up and down slightly with weather. If you are adding air on a regular basis to the bags to maintain your desired pressure then you have a leak in the system and...

  • Air Line Union Connector for 1/4 Inch Air Line Tubing
We certainly do! You'll need part # F3079-1 which is a Firestone part, but it's also compatible with the 1/4 inch air tubing used with by Air Lift air helper spring kits as well. Like any of the air line push-connectors, a good leak free connection depends on the air line cut being perfectly square. Use a sharp utility knife or a dedicated tubing cutter like # AL10530, as snips or docks will partially crush the tubing resulting in leaks.

The Reese Multi-Tow 7-Way & 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 74682 is meant to be a replacement for and existing 7-way (with factory trailer connector). If your vehicle already has a 7-way on the back, then this is the product to go with. But if you don't have an existing 7-way, the recommended part is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # ETBC7. If your vehicle already has a 4-way flat, this kit includes everything you need to install an electric...

  • Troubleshooting Air Compressor Leaking After Switch Replacement
I'm assuming you're talking about the brass tee on the back in the picture below with one end open and the other two running into the switch and gauge. Did you use soapy water to identify the exact location of the leak? I only say that since there are a lot of connections going on here. Also, make sure you're using a hose cutter like # AL10530 when replacing any sections to keep your cuts perfectly square or you could end up with leaks in other locations as well. Since you got the # F49ZR...

  • Replacement Elbow Connector for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs
It looks like you have the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2445 for your 2017 Toyota Tundra. The correct elbow connector is the Firestone Elbow Connector for 1/4" Tubing, 1/4 NPT - Male # F3031-1. Make sure to use an air hose cutter like the # AL10530 for clean, square cuts in order to avoid a leak. If you are still having issues with a leak, I recommend applying soapy water and looking to see where bubbles form to better identify the source. Should...

  • Replacement Air Tubing for Firestone Air Helper Spring Systems
Firestone does indeed offer replacement air tubing. It's available in a 18 foot length as part # F49ZR or a 22 foot length as # F99ZR. To cut the tubing to length, using a tubing cutter such as part # AL10530 is highly recommended as it's crucial that the cuts are perfectly square, because if they're not the connections will leak.

  • Inside and Outside Diameter of Firestone Air Line Tubing
The Firestone # F49ZR 18 foot length of air tubing has an outside diameter of 1/4 of an inch and an inside diameter of 5/32 of an inch. If you're using the tubing with the push fittings of an air helper spring system, it's crucial that the cuts in the tubing are perpendicular and smooth. If the cut is jagged or made at an angle, the connection will leak. AirLift offers a # AL10530 tubing cutter that will make a perfectly square cut that won't leak.
