Replacement Link Plates, Brackets & Hardware For Fastway e2 1,000 lb Weight Distribution Hitch

Question:

I have a used Fastway e2 hitch, rated 1000# tongue weight, 10,000# max trailer weight. When I traded my Keystone Outback trailer for a motorhome, I left the L-brackets attached to the trailer frame, along with the keeper pins and cotter pins that hold the sway bars in place. Can I buy those directly from you? I have pics of the hitch and bars that I still have.

You sure can purchase the replacement brackets, link plates, and hardware for your Fastway e2 Weight Distribution - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # FA92-00-1000. I'll go ahead and list out the replacement parts for you below:

- Replacement Sway-Control L-Bracket # FA93-02-5150

- Replacement Outer Link Plate # FA93-02-5350

- Replacement Inner Link Plate # FA93-02-5200

- Replacement Hardware Kit for Fastway Sway Control Brackets # FA92-02-9200

The hardware kit will have everything you need for both brackets, including the pins you asked about.

The recommended ball for the Fastway E2 Weight Distribution Hitch #FA92-00-0800 that you have is 1-1/4 inch in diameter and with a length of 2-5/8 inches. For a 2-5/16 inch ball with those dimensions I would recommend the #C40030.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
