Trailer Brake Breakaway Switch & Cable
Question:
I have a 2013 Palomino Puma 26-RLSS and need to replace the breakaway lanyard/pin assembly. Also, does this trailer have a separate brake system battery and if so, where is it located? Thanks.

Since your travel trailer has onboard house batteries, the break away brake will be powered by those. To replace the breakaway switch and/or cable I recommend the Fastway # FA80-00-2040 which includes the tongue mounted switch. If you have the switch and only need the lanyard I recommend the Fastway # FA80-01-2204. I have this same line attached to my travel trailer. I like that the coiled line keeps it away from the ground and the large carabiener clip makes it each to hook on to the ears on your hitch.
