Correct Length of Breakaway Cable for my Artic Fox 22G

Question:

Ford F-150, Arctic Fox 22G I have seen some reviews that mention that if you currently have a 4foot length breakaway cable that you should purchase the 6foot Fastway Zip Breakaway Cable because the 4foot cable will stretch too tight. Can you clarify this issue please.

Basically in some towing setups when you make a sharp turn you can as you said stretch the cable going to the breakaway switch with the 48" standard length breakaway cable. If it were to be pulled to much during a turn it could pull out of the breakaway switch and cause you trailer brakes to lock up. If you are experiencing any tension on that cable at all during turns switch to the Fastway Zip Coiled Trailer Breakaway Cable part # FA80-01-2206 this is 6' long and will help to ensure you don't have an accidental engagement of your brakes when not wanted.
