Speaker 1: Today we'll be showing you how to replace the side seal for Extang Encore Tunnel Covers, part number EX32623070.If you've had your tunnel cover for a while, and your side seals are leaking, don't replace your tunnel cover, just replace the seals. They're an exact replacement to your Extang Encore Tunnel Cover side seals.With it in place, your tunnel cover will seal up like new. They're very easy to install. I'll go ahead and show you that now. These are the side seals that we'll be replacing. They're started to leak.
You can see they're dry, and they've got some sun damage. We'll be replacing all three on both sides.To make it easy, you want to open up the panel, and locate the seal, which is going to be this whole piece here, so you can grab ahold of it here on the corner, and then just pull up to remove it, just like that. So here you can see all the moisture that was getting through. We're going to go ahead and clean that up. Give it a second to dry and then we can install our new one.Now our new one is all one piece, so we'll need to measure and cut.
To make it even easier, I'm going to take my old one, line up the ends and then we can just use a standard pair of scissors to cut it off. Now we can take our new seal and install it. We need to make sure it's lined up properly, the double portion of the seal here is going to face outward. Underneath here, we've got two channels. We're going to put this one in first.
So we want to kind of roll it in place, and make sure that it's locked in all the way. Then, for the other side, we need to kind of fold it backward and then push until you hear it kind of snap in. Then you want to work your way down. And it's that simple. You can just repeat that with the other seals.
Give it a good pull, make sure it's in there, and we're all set.With our last one in place on this side, we can go ahead and repeat the same process on the other side. And that's going to complete our replacement side seal for Extang Encore Tunnel Covers, part number EX32623070.
