Replace a cracked vacuum breaker on your Dometic RV toilet that came with a hand sprayer. Prevent backflow and contamination from your toilet back to your fresh-water source. Extended tube gives extra clearance for connecting to the toilet bowl.

Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at the replacement vacuum breaker kit. This is going to work for your Dometic RV toilets. And this is intended for those that have the hand sprayer. So that's going to be this little barb here at the bottom.
And this is a fit for the 500 series toilets. It's going to have an extension coming off the back. It will work with most of your other toilets, but you probably won't need that extension coming off the back that a 100 or 500 series is going to be a little bit further back in there. So that's why you would need the extension.Has this expander grommet to go over the end of that, and it's going to push on as far as you can and then you'll push that into the bowl. So that's how that attaches there.
And then for our barbs, we will have this little support bracket. It's going to have two different size hole openings. The larger one is going to go over our large barb. And then this smaller end will fit our smaller hose that comes for that hand sprayer. We'll have two different size hose clamps as well.
Big one goes for the big barb, little one goes for the little barb. And then you just attach your hoses to that.You want to make sure that you clamp this down nice and snug, not so tight that it's going to crack the hose or cause it to start to deform, just enough so that whenever you give it a tug, it's not going to come off. This little support bracket also helps to prevent that hose from getting pulled off of the fitting by giving a little bit more of a brace against that. As far as the extension that comes off of this, normally it's just about an 1-1/4 or maybe an 1-1/2. With this extension on there, it's now about 3-1/2 or 3-3/8 of an inch going back.But that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the replacement vacuum breaker kit for your Dometic RV toilet.
