Now, if you're looking for a complete package when it comes to towing accessories than look no further than this Demco towing combo kit. This all-encompassing kit will get you on the road with all the accessories to not only wire the towed vehicles for lights but also provide safety and security with the Demco three lock set right here.Now, we're going to go through each item just to describe what it does. We'll start with the cable right here. This a six-way coiled lighting cable. This adapter will run power from your motorhome to your towed vehicle using the six-way connectors.
It is coiled cord, which will stretch up to about seven feet in length, prevent your wires from dragging on the ground, and it is designed to withstand the elements. It uses a vinyl-coated wire and then silicone injected plugs. The cord does contract for storage. It does include the cable itself with the two female connectors on each end. It includes the two male connectors, and again, the length on this is about seven feet.It comes with this seven to six-way adapter right here.
This adapter will allow vehicles that are wired with a seven RV blade socket right here to tow vehicles or trailers that have a six-way round connector. You can plug this into your seven-way and it'll convert it down to the six-way round.It also comes with the diode kit we mentioned. The diode kit right up here. This includes the heat-sealed diodes right here that'll connect your tow vehicle's brake, running, and turn signal lights. The diodes are designed to protect both vehicles' electrical systems by preventing backflow of the electrical feedback.
It includes the four heat-sealed diodes, 26 feet of the four conductor 16 gauge wire, butt connectors, ring terminals, nylon ties, and all the wire instructions to install everything.The locking kit, it comes with three pins. It comes with two baseplate locks that'll replace the pins that hold your tow bar to the baseplates. It gives you a secure, tamper-resistant connection. It is designed for use with Demco tow bars and baseplates, and it gives you a larger receiver lock which will secure your motorhome mounted tow bar to your RV's trailer hitch receiver. These locks help to prevent any theft or tampering of your tow bar assembly.
Again, it's 1 5/8-inch diameter hitch pin lock and two locking baseplate pins, locks. They are keyed alike. There's two keys for each lock.The last thing I want to mention, it comes with this marine-grade vinyl Demco storage cover. This cover is designed to protect your tow bar from the elements while it's not in use. It's constructed of a marine-grade vinyl. It has the hook and loop fastener end here that you just open it up, slide this over your tow bar for protection, and then just hook it back to seal it.
