Can 2014 Honda CR-V 2WD be Flat Towed

Question:

We have towed our ‘06 AWD crv four wheels down for 5 years but we are looking to upgrade to a 2014. Can the two wheel drive be dingy towed?

I checked the online version of the owner's manual for a 2014 Honda CR-V and the only limitations that it specifies for flat towing is that an AWD version cannot be towed using a tow dolly. This means that you can definitely flat tow a 2WD version. For flat towing equipment I recommend the following:

Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519328
Demco Commander II Tow Bar # DM9511012
Demco Tow Bar Combo Kit with Diode System # DM9523057 and Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25
Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Braking System # HM39494 with 12V Outlet Kit # RM-9332
Fuse Bypass # RM76511 (for 1 fuse) or # RM76512 (for 2 fuses) depending on what your manual calls for

I really like the Demco flat towing equipment because they are easy to use and look great without breaking the bank. The Brake Buddy system combines a great, new and easy-to-use portable system that has a proven name behind it so you can be confident in the product.

I have attached some review and installation videos for you to check out as well.
