Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Demco Recon Side Plate Set. And so these side plates are going to attach to your Demco Recon 21,000 pound Manual Slide Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch. And these are going to then allow you to very easily connect to your Chevrolet, or GMC's factory underbed rail system here. So if you already have the Demco Recon, maybe you had it installed in a different vehicle, and you've upgraded to a Chevy or a GMC, this is gonna be a great way to allow you to use your Recon with the factory puck system.

This is gonna be a very simple bolt-on installation. They do include all the hardware that you're gonna need to get this installed. These side plates are made here in the USA of a sturdy steel construction. So they are gonna be very durable for you. They do have the black powder coat finish on them to help resist rust and corrosion, and to match your Recon's finish.

So it's all gonna look very integrated for you. The mounting hardware, the handles, and the safety pins are all included, and so it is gonna be everything that you need. Basically, you'll just take off the side plates that are currently on your Recon, put these in place, and that will allow you to open up the feet and drop it right into your factory underbed rail system, and then get it locked back in place, so that you have a nice, solid connection to your truck.
