Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Demco Replacement Saddle Bracket. This is going to replace the saddle bracket that originally came with your Demco Premier Series or Premier Series Ultra Slide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch. So if your original saddle bracket has become damaged or for whatever reasons, just not usable anymore, this is going to be the replacement for you. It's got the same pivoting action as the original, so that it can move side to side, and then the head will rotate forward and back on this pin here.
On the sides, it's going to have the same adjustable heights there, so that you can clear your side rails on your truck bed. All of this is going to come preassembled, so you're not going to have to worry about putting together your pivot points and bushings and all that.It's all going to be exactly as you need it. Just like your original, it's constructed of a very sturdy steel. It's got this black powder coat finish on it to help resist rust and corrosion. So it's going to be exactly what you need.
It is a Demco product, so you can trust it's going to work with your 5th Wheel Hitch. You're not going to have to worry about compatibility issues or making modifications or anything like that. Saddle bracket serves as an adjustable mount for your hitch head.I had a Demco SL Hijacker flat bed hitch on my previous truck and did not want to buy another hitch so I ordered all the components to convert it from a flatbed hitch to a truck bed hitch and am very pleased with all the parts and the ease I was able to convert.
I ordered this new saddle assembly, the side rail assemblies and the stationary upgrade kit as well as the B&W rail kit for my F350 and a Bargman 9' 7 pin harness.
I have had 3 different fifth wheel hitches over the years and these Demco hitches are at the top of my list for quality and towing capabilities. They are quiet and stable and easy to use!
Demco products have always been high Quality. Fit and bolted up perfectly to the sides. The half circle notches make it easy to pull the pin out when it’s time to grease the pin that holds the pivoting head.
