I plan on mounting this on my Legend Cargo trailer. The tube it will mount on is a 3inch X 6inch alumininum extrusion. Should I use spacer tube on the mount bolts inside if the aluminum tube to avoid crushing the aluminium tube?

Yes, you will want to sleeve the aluminum extrusion on your Legend cargo trailer when you install the Demco 5-Position Adjustable Channel Bracket # DM13867-52. This will help prevent the frame channel from being crushed.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
