Today we're going to take a look at the Demco 13 inch Agricultural Trailer Brake Drum with the eight on five and a half inch bolt pattern. This trailer break drum is designed for use in agriculture applications. It's made of a durable, heavy duty ductile iron construction. The diameter on this measures 13 inches. That's measured inside to inside, all the way across. You can see if we put this ruler on it, it will be right at thirteen inches. The width on this is going to be right at two and three quarter inches.
The bolt pattern on this is an eight on five and a half inch bolt pattern. To measure that, since you have an even number of lugs, just pick one of the holes and measure form the enter of that whole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. There's your five and a half inches. The pilot hole diameter, the large hole in the center that goes over the hub on the trailer, that's right at four and three eighths inches. The size of the bolt holes, the diameter on those is 17/32nds.
The brake flange setback which is measured right here to where the brake flange would be. That measurement is going to be right at 3.44 inches. This part number does match the Dyco 00:01:17 number of 18859. This is made in the USA. That should do it for the review on the Demco 13 inch Agricultural Trailer Brake Drum with the eight on five and a half inch bolt pattern.
