Today we're going to take a look at the Titan 13 inch Demountable Brake Drum with the 8 on 8 inch bolt pattern. Now this is used primarily on 13 inch brake assemblies for agricultural military applications. It is a demountable design and basically that means the drum just slips over the axle on you heavy duty assembly. It is a cast iron and steel stamping construction. A few specs on this, we're going to give you some measurements. 13 inch diameter is always measured inside to inside, so if we put a tape measure on it you can see there's your 13 inches. The width is right at 2 and 3/4 inches.

The bolt pattern, let's flip it over, to measure the bolt pattern you can see there's 8 lugs and that it's an 8 inch bolt pattern so all you have to do on a wheel that has an even number of lug holes, like this one 8, just measure from the center of one hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. Center to center you can see is right at 8 inches, 8 on 8 inch bolt pattern. The bolt hole diameter is 5/8ths of an inch. The center hole diameter is going to be right at 5 and 3/4 inches.
